Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 (4G) — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 (4G) is the 2025 refresh of Xiaomi's best-selling line: a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chipset, a 108MP main camera and a larger 5500mAh battery, all running Android 14 with HyperOS. It was officially launched in Pakistan in January 2025 through Xiaomi's authorised distributors, so PTA-approved units with official warranty are available. This guide covers its verified specifications, current price and buying advice.

Compared with the 2024 Redmi Note 13 4G, the Note 14 4G brings a faster chip, a bigger battery, a better 20MP selfie camera and tougher Gorilla Glass 5 — an evolution rather than a revolution, but a meaningful one at the same price point.

Design and Build Quality

The Note 14 4G keeps the flat, modern Redmi look with a flat Gorilla Glass 5 front and a plastic back and frame. Colours include Midnight Black, Mist Purple, Ocean Blue and an eye-catching Lime Green. At 197 grams it is solid without feeling heavy.

The IP54 rating protects against dust and splashes, and the in-display fingerprint sensor keeps the design clean. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster cover the everyday extras.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display runs at 120Hz with Full HD+ resolution (~395 ppi), 1200 nits high-brightness output and an 1800-nit peak for strong outdoor visibility. Always-on display support, deep blacks and vivid colour make it excellent for streaming and reading.

Gorilla Glass 5 on the front is a genuine upgrade over the previous generation's protection. For a budget phone, this screen is hard to fault.

Processor and Performance

The Helio G99 Ultra (6 nm) — two 2.2 GHz Cortex-A76 cores, six efficiency cores, Mali-G57 MC2 GPU — is a proven, efficient mid-range chip. Daily multitasking, social apps and streaming are effortless, and popular games run well at balanced settings. It is 4G-only, so there is no 5G future-proofing.

For the price bracket this is the right chip: cool, efficient and fast enough for everything short of demanding gaming at maximum settings.

RAM and Storage

Configurations are 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB with UFS 2.2 storage. Pakistan officially received the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB tiers. A microSD slot (shared with the second SIM) allows expansion up to 1TB — useful, though it costs you dual-SIM use.

Camera Features

The 108MP main camera (f/1.7, 1/1.67-inch sensor, PDAF) takes detailed, likeable photos in good light with room to crop. It is joined by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor — the depth sensor assists portraits; the macro is basic. Notably, this generation drops the ultrawide camera of its predecessor, a real trade-off for landscape shooters.

The 20MP front camera is an upgrade over the old 16MP unit and takes sharper selfies. Video is capped at 1080p (60fps rear, 30fps front) with no 4K option.

Battery and Charging

The 5500mAh battery is the biggest ever in a vanilla Redmi Note at launch, and with the efficient chip it delivers excellent endurance — comfortably a full day of heavy use, two days for light users. 33W wired charging refills it in a reasonable time, and the Asian retail box includes the 33W charger. No wireless charging.

Software and Updates

The phone ships with Android 14 and HyperOS, and Xiaomi commits up to 4 major OS updates for this model — the longest update promise on a budget Redmi Note to date. That makes it a safer long-term buy than older Redmi models. HyperOS brings the usual Xiaomi extras: dual apps, second space, IR remote and deep customisation.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE only — the 5G version is a separate model with a different chip. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, IR blaster and USB-C are included. The 3.5mm jack survives, and the stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Pakistan officially received the 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants through Xiaomi's authorised distributors (Airlink, Tech Sirat, Phonezo, Coretech, Mobicell, Smartlink). Colours include Midnight Black, Mist Purple, Ocean Blue and Lime Green. As a current-generation model, new box-packed units are widely available, and Zohaan Mobile Gallery lists it on its website.
