Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is the flagship of the global Note 14 line: Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 power, a curved 1.5K AMOLED display, a 32MP front camera, a 6,200mAh battery and 90W HyperCharge. This guide covers its verified specifications and whether the Plus premium is worth paying in Pakistan.

A naming warning: the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G and the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G are different phones. The Pro+ uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (not the Dimensity 7300 Ultra), has a curved display (not flat), a 32MP front camera (not 20MP), a 6,200mAh battery (not 5,110mAh) and 90W charging (not 45W). Listings mix them up — check the chipset on the box before paying.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The Pro+ looks and feels a class above the regular Pro: the display curves into the frame for a premium edge-to-edge look, and the back comes in glass or vegan-leather finishes depending on the market. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the front, the frame uses an aluminium-composite structure, and the IP68 rating covers immersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes. Note the trade-off: curved screens cost more to protect and repair than flat ones.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch curved CrystalRes AMOLED delivers 2712 x 1220 resolution (446 ppi), 120Hz refresh rate and 3000-nit peak brightness — sharp text, smooth scrolling and sunlight readability. HDR10+ and Dolby Vision make streaming cinematic, and 1920Hz PWM dimming eases night viewing. The curve is subtle, so accidental touches are minimal, though edge glare in bright light is the usual curved-screen compromise.

Processor and Performance

The 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (octa-core up to 2.5 GHz, Adreno 810) is a step up from the Dimensity 7300 Ultra: smoother sustained performance and better gaming — PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile and Genshin Impact run at higher, more stable frame rates. Everyday use is effortless. It remains a mid-range chip, not Snapdragon 8-series flagship silicon. The integrated 5G modem makes this a true 5G phone, ready for Pakistan's future 5G rollout.

RAM and Storage

Global variants offer 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB with UFS 2.2 storage. 12GB keeps heavy multitasking smooth for years; 512GB suits photographers shooting 200MP images and 4K video. There is no microSD slot — at this price, the 12GB/512GB variant is the best long-term value.

Camera Features

The 200MP main camera with OIS (1/1.4-inch, f/1.7) delivers detailed daylight shots, steadier night photos and 4K video, with usable 2x/4x in-sensor zoom. The 8MP ultrawide is adequate for landscapes; the 2MP macro is a minor bonus. The real camera upgrade over the regular Pro is the 32MP front camera — noticeably sharper selfies and video calls. Xiaomi's AI suite and 4K recording round out a strong mid-range package.

Battery and Charging

The headline feature: a 6,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W HyperCharge — two days of light use or a comfortable day and a half of heavy use, and roughly a full charge in 45 minutes. Silicon-carbon cells pack more energy and degrade more slowly than conventional lithium. No wireless charging, but few will miss it at 90W wired speeds. This is the biggest practical reason to choose the Pro+ over the regular Pro.

Software and Updates

Launched with Android 14 and HyperOS on global units, with the Play Store and Google services pre-installed. HyperOS brings cleaner visuals, smoother animations and AI features. Xiaomi's official long-term update commitment for this model was not separately confirmed — the Note Pro line typically gets multiple years of updates, but verify the current official policy before buying if it matters to you.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Dual-SIM 5G (SA/NSA) works on all Pakistani carriers and is ready for 5G tomorrow. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC (market-dependent — confirm your unit), multi-system GPS, an IR blaster and USB Type-C complete the sheet. Stereo Dolby Atmos speakers are loud and clear; there is no 3.5mm jack.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Global variants: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB. Retailer listings show Midnight Black, Lavender Purple and Frost Blue, though colours were not officially confirmed. Do not confuse this phone with the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (Dimensity chip, flat display, 5,110mAh, 45W, 20MP front camera) or China-market Note 14 models.
