Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Redmi Note 11S is the 4G sweet spot of the Note 11 family: a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP quad camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, Launched globally in early 2022, it was one of the cheapest ways to get a 108MP camera with an AMOLED screen. In Pakistan's used market in 2026, it remains a strong value pick under Rs. 40,000 — with one big trap to avoid: the Redmi Note 11S 5G is a completely different phone (Dimensity 810, LCD screen), so always verify the exact model name. This guide covers the verified specifications and what to check on a used unit.

Design and Build Quality

At 179 grams and 8.1 mm, the Note 11S is one of the lighter, more compact phones in its family. The front is Gorilla Glass 3, the frame is plastic, and the back is glass. It carries an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance. Colours are Graphite Gray, Pearl White, and Twilight Blue. For a used buyer, the light weight is a genuine everyday advantage, but check the frame and back for cracks — replacement parts for a 2022 model are getting harder to source.

Display Features

The 6.43-inch AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2400 resolution, and 1,000-nit peak brightness is the phone's strongest asset at this price. Deep blacks, strong contrast, and smooth scrolling — it embarrasses the LCD screens on the Note 11E and Note 11T 5G. Gorilla Glass 3 protects the front. The panel is flat, so a cheap tempered glass fits easily. Check a used unit on plain white and black backgrounds for burn-in or dead pixels.

Processor and Performance

The MediaTek Helio G96 (12 nm) pairs two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.05 GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It is a capable 4G chip for everyday use — social apps, video, multitasking — but the 12nm process is less efficient than newer silicon, and the GPU is actually a step down from the older Note 10S. Critical point: the Helio G96 has no 5G modem, so this phone will never support 5G. If a listing says "Note 11S 5G" with these specs, it is mislabelled — the real 11S 5G is a Dimensity 810 phone with an LCD.

RAM and Storage

Configurations of 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB were sold with UFS 2.2 storage, and unlike many siblings, the Note 11S has a dedicated microSD slot — you can expand storage without sacrificing the second SIM. For a 2026 used buy, target 8GB/128GB; the 64GB base trim fills up fast with modern apps. Check that the SIM tray and card slot both work, since tray mechanisms wear on used phones.

Camera Features

The quad rear setup leads with a 108MP main camera (f/1.9, 1/1.52-inch sensor, PDAF), joined by an 8MP ultrawide with a 118-degree field of view, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera is 16MP. Two honest caveats: video is capped at 1080p at 30fps — there is no 4K recording, which the older Note 10S had — and only the main sensor does the heavy lifting; the macro and depth cameras add little. Daylight detail from the 108MP sensor is genuinely good for the price; night shots are average. Test all four rear lenses and the selfie camera in the shop.

Battery and Charging

A 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging, advertised to reach 100% in about 58 minutes, with PD 3.0 and Quick Charge 3+ support. Real-world endurance is a comfortable full day, and the 12nm chip's thirst is offset by the big cell. For a used unit, battery health is the key variable — ask for a health reading or check Settings, and confirm the 33W charger is included, since slower bricks will drag charge times out significantly.

Software and Updates

Launched on Android 11 with MIUI 13, and as a 2022 model it is past its prime update window. Do not expect further major Android upgrades. For used buyers the practical checks matter more: confirm the phone runs an official ROM, Google services work, and there is no carrier or region lock. Boot the phone from off and watch for bootloader warnings, which signal a modified unit.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE on wide band support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, an infrared blaster, FM radio, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers. The fingerprint reader is side-mounted. NFC is present but market/region dependent — not all units have it, so test contactless payment on the specific unit if it matters to you.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Graphite Gray, Pearl White, and Twilight Blue. The Note 11S is discontinued, so the Pakistani market in 2026 holds used units only. The store product page lists this model — confirm the exact RAM/storage trim and availability on the page or via WhatsApp before visiting. When comparing used prices, remember the 8GB/128GB trim commands a premium over 6GB/64GB, and condition (screen, battery, box) moves the price as much as the trim does.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

Zohaan Mobile Gallery's product page lists the Redmi Note 11S at Rs. 39,999 (verified 2026-10-11). The used-market price shifts with condition, PTA status, and included accessories — confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. SMS the IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status before paying — a non-compliant unit stops working on local networks after the grace period. How to check PTA approval · What is PTA approval

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display — best screen in its price bracket
• 108MP main camera with 8MP ultrawide
• Light 179g body with IP53 splash resistance
• Dedicated microSD slot plus dual SIM
• Stereo speakers, 3.5mm jack, IR blaster, FM radio

Limitations:

• 4G only — the Helio G96 will never support 5G
• No 4K video recording (1080p/30fps max)
• 12nm chip is less efficient than newer silicon
• Macro and depth cameras are filler
• Easily confused with the totally different Note 11S 5G

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers who want the best display and a high-resolution camera for under Rs. 40,000 — students, media watchers, and anyone upgrading from an older LCD phone will feel the AMOLED difference immediately.

Look elsewhere if: you need 5G, shoot 4K video, or want a phone with years of updates ahead — in that case compare alternatives in the Xiaomi collection or all mobiles.

Final Verdict

The Redmi Note 11S remains one of the smartest used buys under Rs. 40,000: a 90Hz AMOLED screen, 108MP camera, light body, and a dedicated microSD slot are a combination rivals still struggle to match at this price. Its honest limits are 4G-only connectivity, no 4K video, and a finished update cycle. Verify you are getting the 4G AMOLED model (not the 11S 5G), check the screen and battery in hand, confirm PTA status — and it is a genuinely satisfying daily driver.
