Design and Build Quality

The F7 Ultra shares its dimensions with the F7 Pro but gets POCO Shield Glass on the front and the signature Poco Yellow colourway alongside Black — a nod to the brand's performance identity. The circular camera module, slim bezels, and punch-hole display match the Pro, while the IP68 rating and ultrasonic fingerprint sensor round out a genuinely flagship-grade build. At 212 grams it is no lightweight, but the weight is typical for a phone with this camera hardware and charging stack.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch 12-bit AMOLED panel runs at 3200 x 1440 (526 ppi) with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz instant touch sampling, DC dimming, and up to 3200 nits peak brightness, with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certification. It is the same panel class as the F7 Pro's — which means the Ultra's premium over the Pro buys chip, camera, and charging upgrades rather than a better screen.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) with Adreno 830 graphics was Qualcomm's 2025 flagship platform, and it puts the F7 Ultra a clear tier above the F7 Pro's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for sustained gaming and heavy workloads. Paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, it is the performance ceiling of the 2025 Poco lineup. As always, manufacturer platform claims describe capability; actual sustained performance depends on thermals, game optimisation, and settings.

RAM and Storage

Configurations are 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB, using LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot, so the 512GB tier is the right pick for buyers who shoot lots of 8K video or keep large game libraries.

Camera Features

This is where the Ultra separates from the Pro: a 50MP main camera (Light Fusion 800, f/1.6, OIS + EIS), a 50MP 2.5x floating telephoto (Samsung S5KJN5, with 10cm macro capability), and a 32MP 120° ultrawide, plus a 32MP front camera — all recording up to 8K (rear) video. The floating telephoto is the standout: true optical zoom plus close-focus macro from the same lens, a combination no other 2025 Poco offered. The 32MP ultrawide is also a large step up from the Pro's 8MP unit. Buyers who care about zoom and ultrawide photography get the most complete camera system Poco had built.

Battery and Charging

The 5300mAh battery is smaller than the Pro's 6000mAh cell — the trade-off for the Ultra's larger camera module and wireless-charging coil — but the charging stack is the best in the 2025 lineup: 120W wired plus 50W wireless charging. For buyers who charge wirelessly at a desk or in the car, the convenience outweighs the capacity difference; for buyers who need maximum time away from power, the F7's 6500mAh cell lasts longer.

Software and Updates

HyperOS 2 on Android 15 at launch, with four OS updates and six years of security patches promised — matching the Pro and a major improvement over the F6 generation's shorter window.

Connectivity and Additional Features

5G SA/NSA, dual nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, IR blaster, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, USB Type-C, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. No 3.5mm headphone jack.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Global variants are 12GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB in Poco Yellow and Black, on sale from March 27, 2025 in selected countries. Poco also offered a free screen-replacement benefit within the first six months of purchase in launch markets. Pakistan-specific official availability was not confirmed in the sources reviewed.
