Samsung Galaxy A31 Price in Pakistan & Specs
Samsung Galaxy A31 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Samsung Galaxy A31 (2020) took the popular A30 formula and fixed its two weak spots: a bigger 5,000mAh battery and a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor — while keeping the Super AMOLED display. On the used market in Pakistan it sits between the cheaper A30/A30s and pricier A32. This guide covers its verified specifications and what to check before buying used.

Design and Build Quality
The A31 carries Samsung's Prism Crush finish — a glossy, light-catching plastic back in four colours. At 185 g and 8.6 mm it is chunkier than the A30, a fair trade for the much larger battery. The fingerprint sensor moved under the display (optical), giving it a more modern feel than the A30's rear sensor.
Display Features
The 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel at 1080 x 2400 is the phone's core strength: vibrant colours, deep blacks, and sharp text. Unlike the A30s — which dropped to HD+ — the A31 keeps the Full HD+ resolution, so it is the sharper screen of the two. Standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Processor and Performance
The MediaTek Helio P65 (12nm) is a modest mid-range chip: comfortable with social apps, YouTube, and multitasking, but not a gaming processor — demanding 3D games run at low settings and the phone can feel sluggish next to newer budget chips. It is a small step up from the A30's Exynos 7904 in CPU performance, but neither is fast by 2026 standards.
RAM and Storage
The common Pakistan variant is 4GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage; a 6GB + 128GB version also exists. Confirm the exact variant of the unit you are buying — it affects the price. A microSD slot (up to 512GB) handles extra storage.
Camera Features
The quad rear camera is the A31's upgrade over the A30: a 48MP main sensor (f/2.0, PDAF) for detailed daylight shots, an 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro + 5MP depth helpers. Real-world results are decent in good light; the macro and depth sensors add little. The 20MP front camera takes solid selfies. Video is 1080p@30fps.
Battery and Charging
The 5,000mAh battery is the A31's best practical feature — even now, a healthy unit delivers well over a day of typical use, and 15W charging refills it in about two hours. On a used unit, verify battery health: ask the seller about screen-on time and watch for rapid drain during your inspection.
Software and Updates
Shipped with Android 10 / One UI 2.0 and received updates up to Android 12 in most regions (verify on the specific unit). Security patches have ended, so weigh that if you use banking apps as a primary device. Full Google Play Services are included.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Dual Nano-SIM, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and NFC (useful for contactless-adjacent features where supported). In-display optical fingerprint sensor plus face unlock.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Discontinued; used and refurbished stock only. Variants: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. Colours: Prism Crush Black, Blue, Red, White. Do not confuse it with the Galaxy A32 (90Hz screen, newer chip) or the M31 (bigger battery, Exynos 9611) — check the model number SM-A315 in Settings.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Used OLX listings in October 2026 ranged widely — roughly Rs. 14,500 to Rs. 32,000 — because condition, PTA status, and RAM/storage variant move the price a lot. Zohaan Mobile Gallery lists the Galaxy A31 at Rs. 35,000 — confirm the current price, exact variant, and condition with the store before buying.
PTA: PTA approval is per-device. Check the unit's IMEI by SMS to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status before paying. How to check PTA approval.
