Samsung Galaxy A30s Price in Pakistan & Specs
Samsung Galaxy A30s — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Samsung Galaxy A30s (2019) is the A30's sibling with a twist: it adds a third rear camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor, but trades the sharp Full HD+ screen for an HD+ panel. On Pakistan's used market it usually costs a little more than the A30 — so the real question is whether those upgrades are worth it. This guide covers its verified specifications and how it compares.

Design and Build Quality
The A30s wears Samsung's Prism Crush geometric-pattern finish, which looks more distinctive than the plain A30. It is nearly identical in size to the A30 (166 g, 7.8 mm). The headline design change is invisible: the fingerprint sensor moved from the back panel to under the display (optical), giving it a flagship-style unlock.
Display Features
Here is the A30s's controversial trade-off: the 6.4-inch panel is still Super AMOLED — so colours and blacks are excellent — but resolution dropped to 720 x 1560 (HD+, ~268 ppi). Next to the A30's Full HD+ screen, text and icons look visibly softer. If screen sharpness matters to you, the A30 is the better pick; if you mostly watch video, the difference is less noticeable.
Processor and Performance
Same Exynos 7904 as the A30: fine for WhatsApp, YouTube, and light multitasking, weak for gaming. In 2026 it is an entry-level performer — buy for basic use, not speed. 4GB of RAM keeps everyday apps running.
RAM and Storage
4GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage — the 128GB variant is the one to look for, since it was the more common Pakistan configuration and commands the used prices quoted below. The dedicated microSD slot supports up to 1TB without sacrificing a SIM.
Camera Features
The triple rear camera is the A30s's upgrade: a 25MP main sensor (f/1.7, PDAF) — higher resolution than the A30's 16MP — plus an 8MP ultrawide and a 5MP depth sensor for portrait blur. Daylight detail is a step up from the A30; low light remains average. The 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls well. Video is 1080p@30fps.
Battery and Charging
4,000mAh with 15W charging over USB Type-C — identical to the A30. A day of typical use when the battery is healthy; on a 6+ year old used unit, verify battery health before paying.
Software and Updates
Launched on Android 9 Pie, upgradable to Android 11 with One UI. Security updates have ended. Full Google Play Services included. Same software story as the A30 — fine as a secondary or basic-use phone, not ideal as a banking-primary device.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Dual Nano-SIM, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C. In-display optical fingerprint sensor plus face unlock. NFC was not listed for this model in spec databases — not confirmed.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Discontinued; used and refurbished stock only. Variants: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. Colours: Prism Crush Black, White, Green, Violet. The key distinction from the A30: triple camera + in-display fingerprint, but HD+ screen. Check the model number SM-A307 in Settings to confirm you are getting the A30s and not the A30.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
A used A30s (4GB + 128GB, described as totally original) was listed on OLX around Rs. 28,000 (Oct 2026). Zohaan Mobile Gallery lists the Galaxy A30s at Rs. 30,000 — confirm the current price, storage variant, and condition with the store before buying.
