Samsung Galaxy A10s Price in Pakistan & Specs (Used)
Samsung Galaxy A10s — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Samsung Galaxy A10s is the 2019 upgrade to the Galaxy A10, and the differences matter on the used market: a bigger 4000mAh battery, a dual rear camera, and — most importantly — a rear fingerprint sensor the A10 lacked. Like the A10 it is long discontinued, so every unit in Pakistan is used. At Rs. 20,000 it sits just above the A10 — the premium buys you the fingerprint sensor and better battery life. This guide covers the verified 2019 specs and what to inspect before paying.

Design and Build Quality
The A10s keeps the A10's compact formula — 156.9 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, 168 g, 6.2-inch Infinity-V notch display — with one visible addition on the back: the fingerprint sensor the A10 was missing. The plastic body is light and grippy. On a used unit, test the fingerprint sensor specifically — it is the main reason to pick the A10s over the A10, and a dead sensor removes the phone's key advantage. Check the screen and charging port for wear as with any 2019 phone.
Display Features
A 6.2-inch IPS LCD at 720 x 1520 (~271 ppi) — the same panel class as the A10. Adequate for YouTube, calls and WhatsApp; dim and soft by 2026 standards, with no high refresh rate. On a used unit, inspect for burn-in, yellowing and touch dead zones, which are common after years of use.
Processor and Performance
The MediaTek Helio P22 (12nm) — eight Cortex-A53 cores at 2.0 GHz with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU — is modest but honest: calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and light browsing work; 2GB of RAM means apps reload frequently and heavy apps stutter. It is slightly more efficient than the A10's Exynos 7884 in daily use, but do not mistake it for a performance phone. Expect a slow-but-working basic smartphone.
RAM and Storage
Standard is 2GB + 32GB, with a 3GB + 32GB version in some markets — ask which one is on offer, since the extra gigabyte helps. The microSDXC slot is dedicated, so storage can be expanded without sacrificing the second SIM. On a used unit, confirm the storage is not failing (random app crashes are a warning sign) and budget for a memory card.
Camera Features
The dual rear camera — 13MP main (f/1.8, AF) plus a 2MP depth sensor — is a genuine step up from the A10's single camera: portrait mode with background blur actually exists here. Daylight photos are acceptable for casual use; the 8MP front camera (upgraded from the A10's 5MP) takes better selfies and video calls. Low light remains weak, and video is 1080p@30fps. Test both cameras and the flash on the used unit before paying.
Battery and Charging
The 4,000mAh battery is the A10s's biggest advantage over the A10 — 600mAh more, and the efficient Helio P22 sips power. New, it lasted well over a day. But in 2026 every A10s battery is years old: capacity degradation is guaranteed, so test real-world drain before buying. No fast charging was specified. If the unit dies quickly or shuts off above 10%, negotiate the price down or walk away.
Software and Updates
Android 9.0 (Pie) with no meaningful update path — official support ended years ago. Modern apps increasingly demand newer Android versions, so treat the A10s as a phone for calls, WhatsApp, YouTube and basic browsing. Banking apps and new games may not install or run reliably. This is the unavoidable trade-off of a 2019 used phone at this price.
Connectivity and Additional Features
4G LTE with single or dual Nano-SIM. Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo, FM radio and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Charging is via microUSB 2.0 — keep a microUSB cable handy, since modern USB-C chargers will not fit. No 5G, no NFC on most units.
Variants, Colours and Availability
2GB + 32GB is the standard variant; 3GB + 32GB exists in some markets. Colours were Blue, Green, Red and Black. Discontinued since 2019 — no new units exist, so never pay a 'new' price. Used pricing moves with condition: working fingerprint sensor, healthy battery and PTA approval each add value.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Zohaan Mobile Gallery lists the Samsung Galaxy A10s at Rs. 20,000 for a used unit, verified on the store product page on 2026-10-11 — Rs. 2,000 more than the A10, which is fair for the fingerprint sensor and bigger battery. Confirm the unit's condition, test the fingerprint sensor and battery in person, verify the IMEI via 8484, and use the store's 7-day check warranty to catch problems early.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.
Main Advantages and Limitations
Advantages:
- Rear fingerprint sensor — the A10's biggest missing feature
- 4,000mAh battery outlasts the A10
- Dual camera with real portrait mode
- Better 8MP front camera than the A10
- Dedicated microSD slot
Limitations:
- Discontinued 2019 model — used only
- 2GB RAM bottlenecks modern apps
- No software or security updates
- Aged battery on every unit
- microUSB port in a USB-C world
Who Should Consider This Phone?
Good fit: buyers choosing between the used A10 and A10s — the A10s is worth the extra Rs. 2,000 for the fingerprint sensor and battery alone. Same use case: backup phone, elderly parent, child's first phone. Look elsewhere if: you need a daily driver for modern apps — step up to the Galaxy A06 or newer instead.

Final Verdict
The Galaxy A10s is the used-market A10 done right: Rs. 20,000 at Zohaan Mobile Gallery adds a fingerprint sensor, dual camera and 4000mAh battery over the A10. It remains a 2019 phone with 2GB RAM and no updates — a basic-communication device, not a daily driver. Inspect the fingerprint sensor, battery and screen before paying, and it is a fair deal.
