Samsung Galaxy A04e — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Galaxy A04e was 2022's refresh of the budget formula: familiar 6.5-inch screen and 5,000mAh battery, the same Helio P35 as the A03s, but newer Android 12, a lighter 188 g body — and, curiously, no fingerprint sensor and one fewer camera.

Used, it trades at similar money to the A03s: newer software and a 128GB option versus a fingerprint reader and triple camera. This guide covers the specifications, price, and how to choose.

Design and Build Quality

The lightest of the 6.5-inch trio at 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm and 188 g, glass front and plastic body in Black, Copper, or Light Blue. Samsung dropped the fingerprint sensor — a step back from the A03s — so it is PIN, pattern, or password only. No water resistance.

Display Features

The 6.5-inch PLS LCD (720 x 1600, 20:9, ~270 ppi) with Infinity-V notch matches the A02s/A03s panel class — big and readable, entry-level brightness, standard 60 Hz. The 90 Hz A05s is the upgrade for smoother scrolling.

Processor and Performance

The Helio P35 (4x2.3 + 4x1.8 GHz here, vs 4x2.35 GHz on the A03s) performs identically in practice — entry-level, fine for daily apps and light games, with the newer Android 12 base giving a small app-compatibility edge over older siblings.

RAM and Storage

Unusual breadth: 3GB or 4GB RAM with 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB storage (eMMC 5.1). The 4GB/128GB combo is the standout used pick — the most storage of any phone here. Dedicated microSDXC slot.

Camera Features

Dual rear — 13MP f/2.2 main (AF) + 2MP depth — dropping the A03s's macro lens; 1080p@30 video with LED flash. Decent daylight photos for the class. 5MP f/2.2 selfie camera. Fewer lenses means fewer used-inspection points, but still verify the main camera and flash.

Battery and Charging

The 5,000mAh battery delivers the family's trademark endurance — strong full-day-plus on a healthy used unit. No charging wattage is officially confirmed, so assume standard-speed wired charging over USB-C and a long top-up from empty.

Software and Updates

Launched on Android 12 (One UI Core 4.1) — the newest launch software in this group, an advantage for app compatibility on a 2026 used buy. No further major upgrades announced.

Connectivity and Additional Features

GSM/HSPA/LTE (4G only), Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou, USB-C 2.0 with OTG, 3.5mm jack. No NFC; accelerometer and proximity only; no fingerprint reader. Single and dual Nano-SIM variants exist.

Variants, Colours and Availability

3GB/32GB up to 4GB/128GB in Black, Copper, and Light Blue, single or dual SIM by region. Discontinued — the 128GB variant is worth seeking out.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

As of 2026-10-11, Zohaan Mobile Gallery lists the Samsung Galaxy A04e at Rs. 22,000 on its website. Prices move frequently — a market-wide surge after 6 October 2026 pushed many used-phone prices up — so confirm the current price on WhatsApp before visiting.

PTA approval is tied to the handset's IMEI, not the model name. Check the specific unit via PTA's 8484 SMS service and ask the store to note the registration status on the printed bill.

Used phones carry a 7-day check warranty: speaker/ringer claims only — no claim for LCD/touch, display, or camera faults, no claims over phone calls, same handset only, and void on water damage, breakage, opening, or unauthorized repair.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Android 12 launch software — newest of the budget trio
• Up to 128GB storage, unique at this used price
• Lightest body (188 g) of the 6.5-inch family
• 5,000mAh battery with strong endurance
• Dedicated microSD, USB-C with OTG, 3.5mm jack

Limitations:

• No fingerprint sensor — a step back from the A03s
• Dual camera only (loses the macro lens)
• Charging wattage unconfirmed — expect slow top-ups
• Entry-level P35 with a 720p 60 Hz screen
• 4G only, no NFC, no further upgrades

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers valuing newer software and maximum storage — the 4GB/128GB A04e feels the most future-proof of the trio for apps and media.

Look elsewhere if: you want biometric unlocking or the most cameras — the A03s (fingerprint + triple camera) wins at similar used prices.

Final Verdict

The A04e is the sensible middle child: newer Android 12, lightest body, and a 128GB option, traded against losing the fingerprint sensor and macro camera. For software longevity on a budget, it edges the A02s and A03s.

Pick it for 4GB/128GB and Android 12; pick the A03s if biometrics matter. Test battery and cameras, verify the IMEI's PTA status, and confirm the price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery.
