Realme GT 5 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme GT 5 is not the same phone as the Realme GT 5G — it arrived two years later, in August 2023, as a China-exclusive flagship built around the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Its claim to fame was charging speed: a 240W version that Realme advertised as filling its battery in minutes. The variant listed at Zohaan Mobile Gallery pairs a larger 5,240mAh battery with 150W charging. The GT 5 was never sold officially in Pakistan, so any unit here is an import or a used device. This guide covers the verified specifications of the 150W variant and what import buyers should know.

Design and Build Quality

The GT 5 wears a glass-and-aluminum body with a large camera module and Realme's signature "Pulse Interface" RGB lighting on the transparent design variants. At 205 grams it is firmly in flagship territory, not a light phone. It was sold in Flowing Silver and Starry Oasis. There is no officially confirmed IP rating, so treat it as splash-prone — a limitation worth knowing for a phone listed above Rs. 100,000.

Display Features

The 6.74-inch AMOLED panel is a strong point: 1 billion colours, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, 1240 x 2772 resolution, and a 1400-nit peak. It is flat, bright enough for outdoor use, and well suited to gaming and video. At this price point in the used market, the display alone justifies a close look.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) remains one of the most efficient flagship chips Qualcomm has made — excellent sustained performance with far better thermals than the Snapdragon 888 in the older GT 5G. With 12GB or 16GB of RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the GT 5 still handles heavy multitasking and high-refresh gaming comfortably in 2026. This is the phone's main reason to exist: near-current flagship speed at a used price.

RAM and Storage

The store lists 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB configurations — both generous, both with fast UFS 4.0 storage. There is no microSD slot. Note the GT 5 also shipped in China in 8GB/256GB and extreme 24GB/1TB (240W) trims; the unit you are buying may differ, so confirm the RAM and storage printed on the specific device.

Camera Features

The 50MP main camera uses the Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilisation — the same sensor family found in several well-regarded flagships — joined by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro. OIS on the main sensor is a genuine step up from the original GT 5G. It records 4K at 60fps with gyro-EIS. The 16MP front camera covers selfies and video calls. Don't expect a telephoto lens; there isn't one, and the ultrawide is average.

Battery and Charging

This 150W variant carries the larger 5,240mAh battery — a more endurance-friendly choice than the 4,600mAh cell in the headline 240W version. 150W wired charging still fills the phone remarkably quickly. On a used unit, verify actual battery health and that full-speed charging still engages with the original-style charger and cable, since these phones depend on proprietary SuperVOOC hardware.

Software and Updates

Launched on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0, with a documented upgrade path to Android 15. As a China-only device, global software support is a question mark: China-market Realme phones may run firmware with Chinese services or require the buyer to check which Realme UI build is installed. Ask the seller which software version and language options the specific unit ships with.

Connectivity and Additional Features

5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX HD, NFC, an infrared blaster, and USB Type-C 2.0. Stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio are included, but the 3.5mm headphone jack is gone.

Variants, Colours and Availability

The GT 5 family is China-only: 150W (5,240mAh) and 240W (4,600mAh) variants in Flowing Silver and Starry Oasis. The store's listing matches the 150W variant's battery and charging figures. It was discontinued in China and never sold officially anywhere else — every Pakistani unit is an import or used device.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Zohaan Mobile Gallery product page lists the Realme GT 5 at Rs. 110,000, verified live on 2026-10-11. That is an import/used-market price, not an official retail figure. Confirm the variant (150W vs 240W), RAM, and storage of the actual unit before paying.

PTA: China-market phones are the most likely candidates for PTA complications. Send the IMEI by SMS to 8484 before purchase and confirm "Compliant" status; budget for possible PTA tax. See how to check PTA approval.

• 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS

• Two GT 5 variants exist (150W/240W) — confirm which one you're buying
• No microSD expansion

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: performance-first buyers who want Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 speed, a big battery, and very fast charging for around Rs. 110,000 — and who are comfortable with a China-import device.

Look elsewhere if: you need guaranteed PTA compliance, official warranty, or zoom photography — compare with the Realme range or the wider mobile collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Realme GT 5 the same as the Realme GT 5G?

No. The GT 5G (2021, Snapdragon 888) is the original GT; the GT 5 (2023, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2) is a separate, newer, China-only model with much faster charging.

What is the price of the Realme GT 5 in Pakistan?

The Zohaan Mobile Gallery product page lists it at Rs. 110,000 (verified 2026-10-11). It is an import/used-market price — confirm the unit's variant and condition with the store.

Which charging variant is this — 150W or 240W?

The store listing matches the 150W variant (5,240mAh battery). The 240W variant has a smaller 4,600mAh battery. Confirm on the actual unit before buying.

What processor does it use?

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) with Adreno 740 — still a fast, efficient flagship chip.

Does it have a telephoto camera?

No — 50MP main with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro only.

Is it PTA approved?

China-market units are PTA-risky. Verify the specific IMEI by SMS to 8484 before purchase.

Is it available at Zohaan Mobile Gallery?

Check the Realme GT 5 product page or WhatsApp +92 305 8452080 for current availability.

Final Verdict

The Realme GT 5 (150W) is a China-market speed demon: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 16GB RAM options, a 5,240mAh battery with 150W charging, and an OIS main camera for Rs. 110,000. It is not a safe mainstream choice — no official launch, no warranty, and PTA verification is mandatory — but for buyers who understand the import game, the performance-per-rupee is hard to beat. Verify the variant, the IMEI, and the battery health in person.
