Realme GT 2 Pro — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme GT 2 Pro was Realme's first true premium flagship, launched in early 2022 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 2K LTPO2 AMOLED display, and a unique 150° ultrawide camera plus a microscope lens. It sits a clear tier above the standard GT 2 — better chip, sharper adaptive display, stronger ultrawide, and Gorilla Glass Victus. The GT 2 Pro is discontinued, so Pakistani buyers will find it on the used market. This guide covers its full specifications and what used buyers should check.

Design and Build Quality

The GT 2 Pro shares the Paper Tech Master design language with the standard GT 2 — Paper White and Paper Green use a bio-based polymer back with a paper-like texture designed with Naoto Fukasawa — but upgrades the front glass to Gorilla Glass Victus and uses an aluminium frame. It measures 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.18 mm and weighs 189 g in the paper finishes or 199 g in Steel Black. Like its sibling, it has no official water-resistance rating.

Display Features

The display is the GT 2 Pro's defining feature: a 6.7-inch LTPO2 AMOLED with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3216 pixels (about 525 ppi), an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz that saves battery when the screen is static, 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. It remains one of the best phone displays of its generation — sharper and more efficient than the standard GT 2's panel, and still competitive with many 2026 mid-range phones.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4nm) pairs a Cortex-X2 prime core at 3.0 GHz with three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz, plus an Adreno 730 GPU. It is a genuine flagship chip that handles everything — gaming, 4K video editing, heavy multitasking — with ease. Like the Snapdragon 888, the 8 Gen 1 is known to run warm under sustained load; Realme's stainless-steel vapour cooling system manages thermals, and GT Mode unlocks maximum performance for gaming sessions.

RAM and Storage

The GT 2 Pro was sold with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD slot. On the used market, the 12GB + 256GB variant is the sweet spot — verify the exact configuration in Settings before buying, since sellers sometimes misstate variants.

Camera Features

The camera system is a step above the standard GT 2. The 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS is joined by a 50MP ultrawide with an extraordinary 150° field of view — the widest on any phone at launch, capturing dramatic perspectives — and a 2MP macro/microscope module. The front camera is 32MP, double the standard GT 2's resolution. Rear video records up to 4K. For a used flagship, this is a versatile and still-capable camera setup, with the 150° ultrawide remaining a genuinely fun differentiator.

Battery and Charging

The 5000 mAh battery supports 65W SuperDart wired charging for a full refill in just over half an hour. The LTPO display's adaptive refresh rate helps endurance compared with the standard GT 2. As with any used phone, battery health is the key variable — ask the seller about it and expect a healthy unit to last a full day of moderate use. No wireless charging is offered.

Software and Updates

The GT 2 Pro launched on Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 and received updates through Android 14. The official update window from its 2022 launch is effectively over, so used buyers should check the installed version in Settings and weigh that against their security expectations.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The phone supports 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an X-axis linear motor, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor round out the flagship feature set. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack and no FM radio.

Variants, Colours and Availability

The GT 2 Pro was sold in 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB variants in Paper White, Paper Green, Titanium Blue, and Steel Black, launching in China in January 2022 and globally (including Europe and India) in the following months. No official launch in Pakistan by Realme Pakistan was found, and the model is discontinued — Pakistani stock is used or old dealer inventory.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Realme GT 2 Pro is listed on the Zohaan Mobile Gallery website at Rs. 105,600 (as shown on the store's product page, verified 2026-10-11). For a discontinued flagship this price reflects its premium positioning, but used-market condition varies enormously — confirm the current price, exact variant, battery health, and box accessories with the store. PTA approval is per device and IMEI: verify the IMEI of the exact handset through official PTA channels before paying. Inspect the phone physically — test all three rear cameras, the 150° ultrawide, the display at full brightness, fast charging, and confirm the IMEI matches the box.

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The GT 2 Pro suits buyers who want a true premium experience — the best display, flagship cameras, and top-tier performance — for used-market money. It is ideal for display connoisseurs and mobile photographers who will use the 150° ultrawide. It is not for buyers who need a new phone with full warranty and long software support; those readers should consider current upper-mid-range models instead.

For buyers comfortable with used phones, yes — the display, cameras, and performance remain strong. Verify battery health, software version, and PTA status first.

It was among the first phones with a 6.7-inch LTPO2 AMOLED at 2K resolution (1440 x 3216) with a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness — still excellent by 2026 mid-range standards. Check for burn-in or green tint on used units.

Is the Realme GT 2 Pro camera still good?

The 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS plus a 50MP 150-degree ultrawide remain strong performers. Camera quality depends on the unit's condition — test all three rear lenses when inspecting the phone.

Final Verdict

The Realme GT 2 Pro was Realme's coming-of-age flagship, and its 2K LTPO display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and 150° ultrawide camera still impress. As a used buy it offers genuine premium hardware at a fraction of original flagship prices — provided buyers verify the variant, battery health, IMEI, and software version before paying.
