Realme C2s — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme C2s is the phone most often confused with the Realme C2 — and the confusion is understandable, because they share the same body, chip, and cameras. Launched in January 2020 as a Thailand-focused refresh, the C2s standardised the line-up to a single 3GB RAM + 32GB storage configuration with ColorOS 6.1. Discontinued for years, it now appears only as a used or import unit.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The C2s reuses the C2's body wholesale: 154.3 x 73.7 x 8.5 mm, 166 g, with the same diamond-cut patterned back. It is a compact, light phone that is easy to handle one-handed — a genuine ergonomic advantage over today's heavier budget phones. Launch reports describe a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 front; the back and frame are plastic. The primary colour is Diamond Black (some listings also mention Diamond Blue).

Display Features

The 6.1-inch IPS LCD offers 720 x 1560 pixels (HD+, 19.5:9, ~282 ppi) behind a waterdrop notch. It is a basic panel: fine for calls, messaging, YouTube, and browsing, with Gorilla Glass 3 protection that was generous for the price in 2020. The 60Hz refresh rate is standard for the segment and era.

Processor and Performance

Inside is the same MediaTek Helio P22 (12 nm) as the C2 — eight 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The C2s's real advantage is its fixed 3GB of RAM: on the C2, buyers could end up with a 2GB variant, but the C2s always ships with 3GB, which keeps Android 9 multitasking noticeably smoother. Everyday apps — WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, browsing — run acceptably. It is not a gaming phone, and modern demanding apps will test its limits.

RAM and Storage

Unlike the C2's four variants, the C2s comes in exactly one configuration: 3GB RAM with 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. That simplicity is a buying advantage — there is no weaker 2GB variant to accidentally end up with. 32GB fills up fast with apps and media, but the dedicated microSDXC slot (up to 256GB, separate from the two Nano-SIM slots) takes care of photos, videos, and offline media.

Camera Features

The camera hardware is identical to the C2: a 13MP main sensor (f/2.2, PDAF) paired with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait blur, with LED flash, HDR, and panorama modes, recording 1080p@30fps. The 5MP front camera (f/2.0, HDR) covers selfies and video calls. In good daylight the main camera produces acceptable casual shots; low-light performance is modest. Set expectations accordingly — this is a basic 2020 entry-level camera system.

Battery and Charging

The 4000mAh battery pairs well with the efficient Helio P22 and HD+ screen: a healthy unit should still manage a full day of light-to-moderate use. No fast charging is confirmed, so charging happens at standard rates over microUSB.

Software and Updates

The C2s launched with Android 9.0 (Pie) and ColorOS 6.1 — a slightly newer skin than the C2's ColorOS 6 Lite, but the same Android base. Official software support ended long ago: no new Android versions or security patches.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE on bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, and 41 covers Pakistan's main LTE networks, with active 4G on both SIMs. Wi-Fi is 802.11 a/b/g/n (launch reports list a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2 with A2DP/LE, and positioning via GPS, GLONASS, and BDS. No NFC. FM radio, microUSB 2.0 with OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are included. Sensors: accelerometer, ambient light, proximity, compass, and face unlock.

Variants, Colours and Availability

There is exactly one official variant: 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, in Diamond Black (Diamond Blue appears in some listings). The C2s was launched for Thailand and is best understood as a regional refresh of the C2 — units in Pakistan are imports rather than officially launched stock. It is discontinued, so only used units circulate. Verify the model name on the box or in settings to confirm you are getting a C2s and not a rebadged C2.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The store-listed price is Rs. 15,999 (Zohaan Mobile Gallery product page, verified 2026-10-11; compare-at Rs. 16,959 shown). This is a used/import-market price, not an official retail price. Because the C2s was never officially launched in Pakistan, extra care with PTA status is warranted — confirm the price and the unit's condition with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model — and import units need particular attention. Send the unit's IMEI to 8484 and confirm compliant status before paying. How to check PTA approval.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Guaranteed 3GB RAM — no weak 2GB variant to worry about, unlike the C2
• Compact 166 g body with Gorilla Glass 3 front
• Dedicated microSD slot plus dual SIM
• Efficient chip stretches the 4000mAh battery through a day of light use
• Lowest store-listed price in this C-series group

Limitations:

• Thailand-focused model — never officially launched in Pakistan; import units only
• 2020 hardware with finished software support (Android 9)
• No fingerprint sensor; basic cameras; microUSB; no NFC
• Battery health on a 6+ year-old used unit must be checked
• Identical chip and cameras to the C2 — no performance step up

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers who want the cheapest working smartphone with a guaranteed 3GB of RAM — a backup phone, a simple device for calls and WhatsApp, or a starter phone where the budget is the deciding factor. If choosing between a 2GB C2 and a C2s at similar money, the C2s's 3GB RAM makes it the better pick.

Look elsewhere if: you need PTA-clean official-stock certainty, a daily driver for modern apps, or better cameras — compare newer used options in the Realme collection or all mobiles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Realme C2s in Pakistan?

Rs. 15,999 on Zohaan Mobile Gallery's product page (verified 2026-10-11) — a used/import-market price. Confirm the current price and unit condition with the store.

What is the difference between the Realme C2 and the Realme C2s?

Same body, chip, cameras, and battery. The C2s (January 2020, Thailand-focused) comes only as 3GB + 32GB with ColorOS 6.1, while the C2 (2019) had four variants including weaker 2GB options with ColorOS 6 Lite.

Was the Realme C2s officially launched in Pakistan?

Not per available records — it was a Thailand-focused release. Units in Pakistan are imports, so verify PTA compliance of the specific IMEI before buying.

What processor and RAM does it have?

MediaTek Helio P22 (12 nm), octa-core 2.0 GHz, with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (eMMC 5.1), expandable via dedicated microSD up to 256GB.

Does it have a fingerprint sensor?

No — face unlock only.

Is it PTA approved?

PTA status is per-device and especially important for import units. Verify the specific unit's IMEI by SMS to 8484 before purchase.

Final Verdict

The Realme C2s is essentially the best version of the 2019 C2 formula: same compact Gorilla Glass body and efficient chip, but with a guaranteed 3GB of RAM and no 2GB trap. Its honest limits are 2020-era performance, finished software support, no fingerprint sensor, and import-only status in Pakistan that demands a careful PTA check. At its low used price it works as a basic backup or starter phone — verify the IMEI, battery health, and that it is genuinely a C2s before paying.
