Realme C2 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme C2 from 2019 was one of the phones that built Realme's reputation in the budget segment: a Helio P22 chipset, a 4000mAh battery, and a diamond-cut back design at an entry-level price. It is the oldest phone in this C-series group and has been discontinued for years, so every unit available today is a used device.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The C2's signature was its diamond-cut back design, which refracted light in a pattern that looked far more expensive than the phone's price. At 154.3 x 73.7 x 8.5 mm and 166 g, it is compact and light by modern standards — easy to use one-handed, unlike today's 200 g-plus budget phones. The front glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a genuine durability plus for an entry-level 2019 phone, while the back and frame are plastic.

Display Features

The 6.1-inch IPS LCD delivers 720 x 1560 pixels (HD+, 19.5:9, ~282 ppi) with a waterdrop notch. For basic use — messaging, calls, YouTube, browsing — it is perfectly serviceable, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection was unusual generosity at this price in 2019. The 60Hz refresh rate is standard for the era and the segment.

Processor and Performance

The MediaTek Helio P22 (12 nm) is an octa-core chip with eight 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In 2019 it was a capable budget processor; in 2026 it is strictly an entry-level chip for light duties. Calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and light browsing run fine, especially on the 3GB RAM variants. Heavy multitasking, large games, and modern demanding apps will strain it.

RAM and Storage

The C2 came in four configurations: 2GB + 16GB, 2GB + 32GB, 3GB + 32GB, and 3GB + 64GB, all eMMC 5.1. The variant matters enormously on this phone: 2GB of RAM with Android 9 is workable but tight, while 3GB makes everyday multitasking noticeably smoother. A dedicated microSDXC slot (up to 256GB) sits alongside the two Nano-SIM slots, so storage can be expanded without sacrificing a SIM. The store lists a single variant, so confirm the exact RAM/storage of the unit on offer — it changes what the phone can comfortably do.

Camera Features

The dual rear camera pairs a 13MP main sensor (f/2.2, PDAF) with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait-mode background blur. Daylight photos are acceptable for the class and era; low-light shots are modest, as expected from a 2019 entry-level sensor. Video tops out at 1080p@30fps with HDR and panorama stills. The 5MP front camera (f/2.0, HDR) handles selfies and video calls adequately in good light. This is a basic camera system — fine for casual snaps, not a photography phone.

Battery and Charging

The 4000mAh battery was a strong point at launch and remains decent: the efficient Helio P22 and HD+ display sip power, so a healthy unit can still manage a full day of light use. There is no confirmed fast charging — expect standard-rate charging over microUSB.

Software and Updates

The C2 launched on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6 Lite. It is long out of its official update window — no new Android versions or security patches are coming. Many apps still run on Android 9, but some newer apps and banking apps may eventually require newer versions.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE on bands 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, and 41 covers Pakistan's main LTE networks. Wi-Fi is single-band 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth is 4.2 with A2DP/LE, and positioning uses GPS, GLONASS, and BDS. There is no NFC. FM radio is included, the microUSB 2.0 port supports OTG, and the 3.5mm jack is present. Sensors: accelerometer, proximity, compass, plus face unlock. Note the microUSB port — USB-C cables will not fit.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Global variants: 2GB/16GB, 2GB/32GB, 3GB/32GB, 3GB/64GB; colours Diamond Black, Diamond Blue, Diamond Sapphire, Diamond Ruby; dual Nano-SIM with dedicated microSD. The phone was sold widely across Asia in 2019 and is now fully discontinued. Do not confuse it with the Realme C2s — the C2s (2020) is a separate, Thailand-focused model with 3GB + 32GB and ColorOS 6.1. The store lists one variant of the C2; confirm RAM, storage, and colour of the specific unit.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The store-listed price is Rs. 17,999 (Zohaan Mobile Gallery product page, verified 2026-10-11; compare-at Rs. 19,079 shown). This is a used-market price for a discontinued 2019 phone, not an official retail price. Condition, battery health, and the RAM variant all move the fair price, so confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the unit's IMEI to 8484 and confirm compliant status. How to check PTA approval.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Gorilla Glass 3 front at an entry-level price — rare in 2019
• Compact, light 166 g body — easy one-handed use
• Dedicated microSD slot plus dual SIM
• Efficient chip and HD+ display stretch the 4000mAh battery
• Very low used-market price for a working smartphone

Limitations:

• 2019 hardware — modest performance, no software updates coming
• No fingerprint sensor; basic 13MP + 2MP cameras
• microUSB instead of USB-C; single-band Wi-Fi; no NFC
• Battery health on a 7-year-old used unit is the main risk
• 2GB RAM variants struggle with modern multitasking

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers needing the cheapest possible working smartphone — a backup phone, a device for an elderly family member who mainly calls and uses WhatsApp, or a first phone for a child. The 3GB RAM variants are meaningfully better than the 2GB ones.

Look elsewhere if: you need a daily driver for apps, gaming, photography, or anything requiring current software — the Realme collection and all mobiles include newer used options with more headroom.

Final Verdict

The Realme C2 in 2026 is a strictly budget used buy: Gorilla Glass 3, a compact 166 g body, and an efficient-enough chip for calls, WhatsApp, and media at a very low price. Its honest limits are 2019-era performance, finished software support, no fingerprint sensor, and battery health that must be checked on any unit this old. If you need the cheapest working smartphone and pick a 3GB variant in good condition, it does the job — just verify PTA status and battery health first.
