Design and Build Quality
The Realme C12 is a big, chunky phone: 164.5 x 75.9 x 9.8 mm and 209 g — the weight of that 6,000mAh battery you can feel in the hand. The plastic back has a geometric pattern finish in Marine Blue, Coral Red or Silver, and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, a genuine plus at this price. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor handles unlocking.
Display Features
The 6.5-inch IPS LCD delivers 720 x 1560 pixels (~264 PPI) — HD+, not Full HD. In plain terms: big and bright enough for video and reading, but not pin-sharp. Corning Gorilla Glass protection is the display's real advantage here, adding scratch resistance that most budget rivals skip.
Processor and Performance
The MediaTek Helio G35 (12nm) is an octa-core gaming-branded entry chip: four 2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 performance cores plus four 1.8 GHz efficiency cores, with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It handles daily use — WhatsApp, YouTube, browsing — and light games like Free Fire at reduced settings. It is not a smooth performer for heavy multitasking or demanding 3D titles. No benchmark scores are claimed here; the chip's specs are the facts.
RAM and Storage
The Pakistan variant pairs 3GB of RAM with 32GB of storage. That is tight by 2026 standards: 3GB means apps reload more often when you switch between them, and 32GB fills quickly with photos and WhatsApp media. Storage is expandable via microSD (up to 256GB), though some listings show it uses a shared SIM slot — confirm the slot arrangement on the actual unit.
Camera Features
The triple rear camera is led by a 13MP main sensor (f/2.2, PDAF), joined by a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor — the two 2MP units add little beyond portrait-mode blur. The 5MP front camera (f/2.0) covers selfies and video calls. Expect decent daylight shots with Realme's processing; low-light results will be noisy. Do not treat the two 2MP sensors as meaningful extra cameras.
Battery and Charging
The 6,000mAh battery is the phone's reason to exist — it comfortably covers two days of light use, and Realme rates it for heavy-use days too. Charging is only 10W, so a full refill takes a while; there is no fast charging here. The party trick is reverse charging: the C12 can charge other phones or accessories over its cable, effectively doubling as a power bank.
Software and Updates
The C12 launched on Android 10 with realme's skin (ColorOS 7 / realme UI 1.0). As a 2020 budget model, it is past Realme's official update window — do not buy it expecting newer Android versions or security patches. When buying used, check in Settings that the software runs smoothly and that Google Play services work.
Connectivity and Additional Features
4G LTE bands suitable for Pakistan, dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB 2.0 with OTG. No NFC. Sensors: rear fingerprint, accelerometer, compass and proximity.
Variants, Colours and Availability
The verified Pakistan variant is 3GB + 32GB. Some international listings report a 4GB + 64GB version, which was not confirmed for Pakistan. Colours: Marine Blue, Coral Red, Silver. Multiple 2026 sources describe the C12 as available only in used/refurbished condition in Pakistan — treat new sealed units with scepticism.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Retailer listings quote Rs. 16,999 (verified 2026-10-11), though one 2026 source notes the phone now trades only in used/refurbished condition, so street prices will vary with condition. Confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status before paying. How to check PTA approval. Used phones at Zohaan Mobile Gallery carry the store's 7-day check warranty.
Main Advantages and Limitations
Advantages:
- 6,000mAh battery — genuine two-day endurance
- Reverse charging turns it into a power bank for other devices
- Corning Gorilla Glass on a budget display
- Rear fingerprint sensor and FM radio
- Very affordable used-market pricing
Limitations:
- 3GB RAM and 32GB storage are cramped in 2026
- Slow 10W charging for a 6,000mAh battery
- HD+ display is not sharp; 209 g is heavy
- Two of the three rear cameras are low-value 2MP sensors
- No software updates expected; microUSB instead of USB-C
Who Should Consider This Phone?
Good fit: buyers who want maximum battery life for minimum money — delivery riders, field workers, or a second phone that can even top up your main phone via reverse charging.
Look elsewhere if: you multitask heavily, need fast charging, or want a sharp display — compare budget options in the Realme collection or all mobiles.

Final Verdict
The Realme C12 is a battery-first budget phone: 6,000mAh with reverse charging at around Rs. 16,999 is still a compelling combo for basic users. But 3GB of RAM, slow 10W charging and no updates mean it is strictly a light-use phone in 2026 — buy it for endurance, not performance.
