Design and Build Quality

At 161.7 x 74.7 x 7.6 mm and 185 grams, the Realme 13+ 5G sits comfortably in the one-hand-friendly range for a 6.67-inch phone. The build uses a glass front with a plastic frame and back, keeping weight down. An IP65 rating gives it basic protection against dust and water splashes — a welcome touch at this level. Realme sells it in three finishes: Victory Gold, Dark Purple and Speed Green, each with a light-reflecting texture on the rear panel. The under-display optical fingerprint sensor keeps the design clean with no rear-mounted scanner.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch AMOLED panel is one of the phone's strongest assets: Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400), a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming, HDR10+ support and a claimed 2000 nits of peak brightness, which helps legibility under Pakistan's harsh midday sun. The typical brightness is a more modest 600 nits, so indoor viewing is where the panel looks its best. For everyday use — social media, YouTube, PUBG Mobile and reading — this display punches above its price bracket.

Processor and Performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy is a 4 nm octa-core chip (four Cortex-A78 cores at 2.5 GHz plus four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores) paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It is tuned for efficiency rather than raw flagship power: daily multitasking, app switching and mid-settings gaming run smoothly, while sustained heavy loads will not match a Dimensity 8300 or Snapdragon 8-series part. The 'Energy' branding reflects Realme's efficiency-first tuning, which also helps battery endurance. Gamers on a budget will find 60fps achievable in most popular titles at balanced settings.

RAM and Storage

Realme offers the 13+ 5G with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, which is noticeably faster than the UFS 2.2 storage used by cheaper rivals. Dynamic RAM expansion can borrow up to 14GB from storage for heavier multitasking. The hybrid SIM tray accepts a microSD card in place of the second SIM, so storage can be expanded if you are willing to give up dual-SIM use.

Camera Features

The headline camera is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor (f/1.8, 1/1.95-inch) with both PDAF and optical image stabilisation — OIS at this price is genuinely useful for sharper night shots and steadier video. It is joined by a 2MP depth sensor for portrait mode and a dedicated flicker sensor that helps with artificial lighting. Video tops out at 4K at 30fps with gyro-EIS. The 16MP front camera handles 1080p video and is adequate for selfies and video calls, though it is the least ambitious part of the imaging setup. There is no ultra-wide camera, which is the 13+ 5G's most obvious camera compromise versus the Pro models.

Battery and Charging

A 5000mAh battery powers the phone, and with the efficient 4 nm chipset and AMOLED display, a full day of heavy use is realistic. The 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging is a standout: Realme's fast-charging standard can refill the battery in roughly 40–45 minutes with the bundled charger. There is no wireless charging, which is expected at this price.

Software and Updates

The Realme 13+ 5G launched with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0. Realme UI adds useful extras like Smart Sidebar, system cloning and flexible window multitasking, though it does ship with some pre-installed apps that can be uninstalled. Realme's update policy for the number series has historically covered two major Android upgrades; buyers should not assume flagship-length support.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The phone supports 5G (SA/NSA), dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC (availability varies by market) and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BDS are all supported for navigation. Sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor and the under-display optical fingerprint reader. A 3.5mm headphone jack is present — increasingly rare and a genuine plus for wired-audio users.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Globally the Realme 13+ 5G comes in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB configurations in Victory Gold, Dark Purple and Speed Green. Pakistani retail availability has centred on the higher-RAM variants. The phone uses a hybrid dual Nano-SIM tray. Colour and variant availability varies by seller, so confirm the exact configuration before ordering.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Realme 13+ 5G was officially listed for the Pakistani market, and third-party trackers have shown figures around Rs 89,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant — but no tracker could provide a dated, verifiable current retail price as of 2026-10-11, and catalog prices from earlier in October are stale after the market-wide price movement. Treat any online figure as indicative only and confirm the latest price directly with Zohaan Mobile Gallery. Because PTA approval and tax status are tied to each device's IMEI, always verify PTA status of the specific unit before purchase — see our guides on what PTA approval means and how to check it.

Main Advantages and Limitations

• Dimensity 7300 Energy (4 nm) delivers smooth daily performance with strong efficiency
• Bright 120Hz AMOLED display with 2000 nits peak brightness and HDR10+
• 50MP Sony main camera with genuine optical image stabilisation
• 80W SUPERVOOC charging refills the 5000mAh battery very quickly

Limitations

• No ultra-wide camera — the 2MP depth sensor adds little
• Only a 16MP front camera with 1080p video
• Plastic frame and back feel less premium than glass rivals
• IP65 only — splash protection, not full submersion rating
• Hybrid slot forces a choice between a second SIM and microSD expansion

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The Realme 13+ 5G suits buyers who want a balanced mid-ranger: a great screen, dependable performance, OIS camera and very fast charging without paying Pro-series money. It is a sensible pick for students, office users and casual gamers. Photography enthusiasts who need an ultra-wide lens, and buyers who want the longest software support window, should look at the 14 Pro+ or a higher tier instead.

Final Verdict

The Realme 13+ 5G remains a well-rounded mid-range option: an efficient 4 nm chipset, a bright 120Hz AMOLED screen, a stabilised 50MP main camera and 80W charging cover everything most buyers actually use. Its weaknesses — no ultra-wide camera, modest selfie camera and plastic build — are honest trade-offs at its price point.
