Oppo F29 Pro — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

Introduction

Launched in India on 20 March 2025 alongside the F29, the Oppo F29 Pro 5G is the performance flagship of the 2025 F series. It combines the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset with a curved 6.7-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display (Gorilla Glass Victus 2), a 6000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 80 W charging, and the same triple-IP durability rating as its sibling.

This guide covers the verified specifications of the Oppo F29 Pro and the questions Pakistani buyers ask most — its Pakistan launch status, realistic pricing, and what to verify on an imported unit.

Design and Build Quality

At 7.6 mm and 180 g, the F29 Pro is remarkably slim for a 6000 mAh phone. Marble White and Granite Black are the colours, with a distinctive fibre-fabric back that resists fingerprints and adds grip. Durability matches the F29: IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H-grade toughness and a 360° Armour Body, with underwater photography supported. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 — a genuine flagship-grade cover glass — protects the curved display.

Display Features

The 6.7-inch curved AMOLED delivers 120 Hz, 1080 x 2412 resolution, 1 billion colours and 1200-nit high-brightness-mode output. The curve gives a premium edge-to-edge look; as usual with curved panels, expect occasional accidental touches and trickier screen protectors. The in-display fingerprint sensor is fast and reliable.

Processor and Performance

The Dimensity 7300 Energy (4 nm, 4x 2.5 GHz Cortex-A78 + 4x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A55, Mali-G615 MC2) is a clear step above the F29's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1: stronger CPU and GPU performance for gaming and heavy multitasking, while the "Energy" tuning keeps efficiency high. It handles demanding titles at high settings comfortably. This is the chip to choose in the F series if performance matters most.

RAM and Storage

Three variants: 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 256 GB — the only F-series phone here with a 12 GB option. All use LPDDR4X RAM and fast UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD slot, so heavy users should pick 256 GB. The 12 GB variant is the pick for gamers and aggressive multitaskers.

Camera Features

The dual rear camera pairs a 50 MP main sensor (Omnivision OV50D40, f/1.8) with optical stabilisation and a 2 MP depth sensor, aided by a colour spectrum sensor for accurate colour. Daylight and night shots are strong for the class, and 4K video at 30 fps is stabilised by OIS plus electronic stabilisation. The 16 MP front camera (Sony IMX480) is adequate for selfies and 1080p video calls. As with the F29, there is no ultrawide camera — the main compromise for photography enthusiasts.

Battery and Charging

The 6000 mAh silicon-carbon battery delivers a comfortable full day of heavy use and stretches toward two days for moderate users. 80 W SUPERVOOC charging is the meaningful upgrade over the F29: about 45% in 20 minutes, so even short plug-ins add hours of use. Battery health engineering targets strong capacity retention over years.

Software and Updates

Ships with Android 15 and ColorOS 15, with 2 major OS upgrades and 3 years of security patches promised. ColorOS 15 adds AI camera tools, smoother animations and Oppo's LinkBoost connectivity engine. Expect the usual pre-installed apps to remove after setup.

Connectivity and Additional Features

5G SA/NSA on nine bands (n1/n3/n5/n8/n28/n40/n41/n77/n78) with dual 4G VoLTE; Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD, USB-C 2.0 with OTG, and an infrared port. Stereo speakers, no 3.5 mm jack, no NFC. Navigation covers GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Three variants — 8/128, 8/256 and 12/256 GB — in Marble White and Granite Black. Launched in India in March/April 2025 at Rs. 27,999 for the base model. Like the F29, it was an India-first launch with no official Pakistan release, so Pakistani units are parallel imports; confirm warranty and PTA terms with the seller.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

No verified current market price for the Oppo F29 Pro in Pakistan is available. The Zohaan Mobile Gallery listing shows a catalog price of Rs. 92,000 from an October 2026 import — not a verified current market price after the October 2026 surge. Confirm the latest price with the store before buying. For context, it launched in India at Rs. 27,999 and current Indian retail is around Rs. 20,135 (October 2026) — a useful sanity check on any Pakistan asking price.

PTA status is per device: verify the IMEI through PTA DIRBS and confirm whether PTA tax is included. With no official Pakistan launch, do not assume official local warranty — get the seller's terms in writing.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Dimensity 7300 Energy — the fastest chip in the 2025 F series.
• 6000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with genuinely fast 80 W charging.
• Curved 120 Hz AMOLED with Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
• IP66/IP68/IP69 plus MIL-STD-810H-grade toughness.
• 12 GB RAM option for power users; 50 MP OIS camera with 4K video.

Limitations:

• No ultrawide camera on either 2025 F-series phone.
• No microSD slot, no NFC, no 3.5 mm jack.
• Curved display complicates screen protectors.
• Not officially launched in Pakistan — import pricing, PTA and warranty need checking.

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The F29 Pro suits performance-minded buyers who also want durability: gamers, heavy multitaskers and anyone who wants the fastest F-series chip with 80 W charging and a tough, premium-feeling body. The 12 GB variant is the enthusiast's choice.

It is less suitable for ultrawide photography fans, buyers who prioritise maximum battery over speed (the F29's 6500 mAh wins there), and anyone needing NFC payments. Budget-conscious buyers should weigh it against the F27 Pro+, which offers similar durability with a weaker chip at a lower price.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Oppo F29 Pro in Pakistan?

Final Verdict

The F29 Pro is the complete 2025 F-series package: the fastest chip, 80 W charging on a 6000 mAh battery, a curved Victus 2 AMOLED display and triple-IP toughness in a slim 180 g body. The missing ultrawide camera is its one real photographic compromise.
