Nothing Phone 3 — Full Specifications, Features & Pakistan Price Status

Introduction

The Nothing Phone 3 is Nothing's flagship phone, announced in London on 1–2 July 2025 and released globally on 15 July 2025. It introduces the new Glyph Matrix rear LED display, a triple 50MP camera system with a periscope zoom, and the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Its Pakistan situation is different from its hardware: as of October 2026 there is no officially published Pakistan price for this phone. This guide covers the verified global specifications and explains the Pakistan pricing and PTA position honestly, so buyers do not rely on conflicting retail figures.

Design and Build Quality

The Phone 3 replaces Nothing's earlier Glyph light strips with the Glyph Matrix — a small rear LED matrix of 489 LEDs that can show notifications, timers and simple graphics. The front uses Gorilla Glass 7i and the back Gorilla Glass Victus, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. At 218g it is a substantial handset.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch OLED display has a 1260 × 2800 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with a manufacturer-rated peak brightness of 4500 nits for outdoor visibility.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is a 4 nm flagship-tier Qualcomm chipset, suited to demanding games and heavy multitasking. These are manufacturer specifications; no independent benchmark results are presented in this article.

RAM and Storage

Global configurations are 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, both UFS 4.0. There is no memory card slot.

Camera Features

All three rear cameras are 50MP: a main camera with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor and OIS, a periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and an ultrawide. The front camera is also 50MP — an unusually even camera setup across the board.

Battery and Charging

The global variant carries a 5150mAh silicon-carbon battery with 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. Buyers should note that a 5500mAh figure seen in some coverage applies only to the India variant and does not describe the global model.

Software and Updates

The phone ships with Android 15 and Nothing OS 3.5. Nothing promises 5 Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates — among the longest commitments in its class.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Beyond 5G connectivity, the defining extra is the Glyph Matrix on the back. The phone is IP68-rated. Detailed band information for Pakistan networks was not part of the verified sources; buyers importing a unit should check band compatibility with their network.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Global variants are 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB. In Pakistan, Nothing's official sales channel — the Jazz e-store, with distributor Yellostone Technologies — lists the Phone 3a, Phone 3a Pro and CMF models, but does not list the Phone 3 (checked 23 October 2026). Units seen in the local market are therefore retail or grey imports rather than official-channel stock.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Nothing Phone 3 is not officially priced in Pakistan. No brand or distributor price list covers it, and retail and aggregator figures conflict widely between sources, so this article deliberately prints no rupee price rather than guess. Any price quoted by a seller should be treated as that seller's import price, not an official price. Confirm the latest position with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before making a decision.

The PTA position needs extra care with imported units: PTA approval and tax are calculated per device and per IMEI, and a non-PTA or tax-unpaid unit will not work on Pakistani networks after the grace period. Before buying any imported Phone 3, verify the IMEI and its PTA status — see what PTA approval means, how to check PTA approval, and CPID vs PTA approval. Also confirm what warranty, if any, the seller provides, since official-channel warranty does not automatically cover grey imports.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages

• Triple 50MP cameras including a 3x periscope with OIS
• Flagship-tier Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 performance
• Long support promise: 5 OS upgrades, 7 years of security updates
• Distinctive Glyph Matrix rear display and IP68 build
• 65W wired and 15W wireless charging

Limitations

• No official Pakistan price or official-channel listing yet
• Imported units carry per-IMEI PTA tax and warranty uncertainty
• No memory card slot
• 218g weight is on the heavier side

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The Phone 3 suits enthusiasts who want Nothing's design and long software support with flagship-grade cameras — but only buyers who understand the import route: checking IMEI and PTA tax, and confirming warranty terms with the seller first. Buyers who want an officially priced Nothing-family phone today should consider the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which is sold through the official Jazz channel with brand warranty.

Final Verdict

On hardware, the Nothing Phone 3 is a complete flagship package — triple 50MP cameras, a bright OLED screen, the Glyph Matrix and long software support. In Pakistan, however, it remains an import-only purchase with no official price, so the buying decision depends on careful IMEI, PTA tax and warranty checks rather than a listed price.
