Nokia X10 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

Introduction

The Nokia X10 launched in April 2021 alongside the X20 as HMD's affordable 5G duo, bringing ZEISS-branded cameras and a then-generous three years of promised Android upgrades to the mid-range. The X10 was the cheaper twin, with a 48MP main camera and 8MP selfie camera.

Today it is strictly a used-market phone. This guide covers the Nokia X10 price in Pakistan, its full specifications, and the practical checks for buying a four-year-old 5G phone second-hand.

Design and Build Quality

The X10 wears Nokia's signature Nordic design: a polycarbonate unibody with a circular camera housing in Forest or Snow. At 210 grams it is solid but not unwieldy, with IP52 splash resistance. HMD removed the charger from the box in some markets — used units often lack one, so factor a charger into the total cost.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD (1080 x 2400) with a centred punch-hole was respectable for a 2021 mid-ranger — sharp text, decent colours — though it is a 60Hz panel with modest 450-nit brightness, limiting outdoor visibility. On a used unit, check for dead pixels, discolouration, and touch dead zones.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 480 5G (8 nm) with Adreno 619 graphics was Qualcomm's first budget 5G chip: smooth for messaging, browsing, video, and light games, but several generations old now. Heavy multitasking and demanding 3D games expose its limits. Treat it as basic-smartphone grade — fine for essentials, not for power users.

RAM and Storage

Configurations are 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB, and 6 GB + 128 GB, with microSD expansion up to 512 GB. The 6 GB variants are the sensible used picks; 4 GB feels tight on Android 13/14, and 128 GB storage is strongly preferable given modern app sizes.

Camera Features

The 48MP main camera with ZEISS optics takes detailed daylight photos with natural colours, but low-light performance is weak, the 5MP ultra-wide is low-resolution, and the macro and depth sensors are fillers. The 8MP front camera is basic; video tops out at 1080p. A fair 2021 budget camera — do not let the ZEISS badge inflate the price.

Battery and Charging

The 4470mAh battery with 18W charging was average even in 2021 — a day per charge, slow refills, no wireless charging. Four years on, battery health is make-or-break: a worn cell turns this into a half-day phone. Test real drain before paying.

Software and Updates

The X10 launched on Android 11 under Android One with three promised OS upgrades (to Android 14) and three years of security updates — a window that has now closed. A unit on Android 14 with the final patches is the best case; anything older suggests missed updates. With no further security updates coming, treat it as a secondary or basics-only device.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Connectivity includes 5G (SA/NSA), dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS/GLONASS/Galileo, plus FM radio and a 3.5 mm jack. Check the international 5G band set against your Pakistani carrier, though 4G will be the practical reality for most buyers.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Global variants span 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB, and 6 GB + 128 GB in Forest and Snow, sold from June 2021 at around €309 — never officially in Pakistan. Confirm the exact RAM/storage combination and accessories on the handset itself.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

This model is discontinued by HMD Global, so there is no official current Pakistan price. Zohaan Mobile Gallery's catalog reference (2026-10-01 import) lists it at Rs. 28,000 — treat this as a reference only, not a current market price. WhatMobile Pakistan has no current listing with a real market price for this model (checked 2026-10-11). Used-market prices for this model move with condition, box/accessories, and whether the unit is PTA-verified. Confirm the latest price and availability with the store before planning a visit. PTA approval is per-device and per-IMEI — always check the PTA status of the exact handset using its IMEI on the PTA DIRBS portal before buying.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages

• Sharp 6.67-inch Full HD+ display — better than many budget rivals' HD+ panels
• ZEISS-tuned 48MP main camera with decent daylight results
• Clean Android One software with no bloatware
• 5G-capable, with NFC, headphone jack, FM radio, and microSD
• Sturdy Nordic polycarbonate design with splash resistance

Limitations

• Software support expired — no more security updates
• Snapdragon 480 is several generations old; modest performance
• 4470mAh battery with slow 18W charging; health is a gamble on old units
• Charger often missing (removed from box in some regions)
• Never officially sold in Pakistan — no local warranty

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The X10 suits buyers wanting the cheapest ZEISS-branded 5G Nokia for basic use — a backup device, a teenager's first phone, or a media handset where the Full HD+ screen matters more than speed.

Not for anyone needing security updates, strong battery life, or smooth gaming. If the price nears a new entry-level phone, the new phone's warranty and updates win.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Nokia X10 price in Pakistan?

No official current price — discontinued, never officially launched here. Zohaan's catalog reference is Rs. 28,000 (2026-10-01 import), a reference only. WhatMobile has no current real listing. Confirm the used price with the store.

What processor does it use?

The Snapdragon 480 5G (8 nm) — entry-level 5G, adequate for everyday tasks, not heavy gaming.

What are its RAM and storage options?

4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 64 GB, and 6 GB + 128 GB, with microSD expansion up to 512 GB (hybrid slot).

How good is the camera?

The 48MP ZEISS main camera takes decent daylight photos; low light is weak, the ultra-wide is low-resolution, and the selfie camera is basic. A fair 2021 budget camera.

What is the battery capacity?

4470mAh with 18W wired charging — about a day per charge when new. Battery health is the critical check on a used unit.

Does it support 5G?

Yes, 5G (SA/NSA) in hardware, but real-world 5G in Pakistan depends on carrier bands and the limited rollout. Verify bands with your network.

Is the Nokia X10 PTA approved?

PTA approval is per-device and per-IMEI. Check the exact unit's IMEI on the PTA DIRBS portal before buying.

What is the difference between the X10 and X20?

Same body, display, chip, and battery. The X20 upgrades the main camera (64MP vs 48MP), selfie camera (32MP vs 8MP), and RAM (6/8 GB vs 4/6 GB).

Final Verdict

The Nokia X10 is a decent 2021 budget 5G phone aged into a narrow role: a cheap Full HD+ screen with ZEISS-tuned cameras for buyers who only need the basics. Expired updates and an aging battery cap its value firmly.

Buy only at a genuinely low used price, after checking the Android version, battery drain, display, and the IMEI's PTA status.
