Realme Narzo N61 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme Narzo N61 is an ultra-budget 4G smartphone launched in India in July 2024. It pairs the Unisoc T612 chipset with a 6.74-inch 90Hz display, a 32MP rear camera, IP54 dust-and-splash resistance, and a 5000mAh battery — all at one of the lowest launch prices in the Narzo N series. This guide covers its full specifications, features, India price reference, and what Pakistani buyers should know about PTA approval and import availability.

Buying framing: the Narzo N61 is a budget 2024 model with no official Pakistan launch. In Pakistan it is mainly a used-market phone — check the exact unit's condition, battery health, and PTA status before buying.

Do not confuse it with its siblings: the Narzo N63 has a 50MP camera and 45W charging (vs 32MP and 10W here), and the Narzo N53 is the slimmer 2023 model with 33W charging. The N61 is the cheapest of the three — and its 10W charging is its biggest compromise.

Design and Build Quality

The Narzo N61 is 7.84 mm thick and weighs 187 g, with a die-cast aluminium chassis inside a plastic body and reinforced glass on the front. Realme markets its ArmorShell protection, which shields internal ports and core components, alongside an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. It comes in Voyage Blue or Marble Black with nano-level lithography textures, and the Mini Capsule around the front camera shows charging and notification status.

Display Features

The phone has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600) and a 90Hz refresh rate. Like the N53, the display is the compromise: 720p resolution means text and video are less sharp than Full HD+ panels. The 90Hz refresh rate keeps everyday scrolling smooth, and peak brightness of 560 nits is usable outdoors.

Processor and Performance

The Unisoc Tiger T612 — the same chip as in the Narzo N53 and N63 — is a 12nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz, plus a Mali-G57 GPU. It is fine for calls, messaging, social apps, and video streaming, with up to 4GB of virtual RAM expansion on the 6GB model. It is not a gaming chip, and the N61 is 4G-only with no 5G support.

RAM and Storage

Variants are 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, with storage expandable up to 2TB via a dedicated microSD slot that leaves both SIM slots free. For an ultra-budget phone, the dedicated slot is a meaningful practical advantage.

Camera Features

The 32MP main camera (f/1.8, PDAF) with a depth sensor is unusual at this price — most rivals offer 13MP or lower. Daylight photos are acceptable for social media, but there is no ultrawide, no OIS, and low-light performance is basic. The 5MP front camera is modest even for the budget class; video calls will look soft. Video recording is 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

A 5000mAh battery gives the N61 strong endurance for its class — Realme claims up to 1.8 days of use. The catch is 10W charging, which is slow: a full charge takes several hours. This is the N61's single biggest weakness versus its siblings — the N63 charges at 45W and the N53 at 33W. On a used unit, check battery health, since slow charging makes a degraded battery even more painful.

Software and Updates

The Narzo N61 launched with Android 14 and Realme UI, and Realme's stated commitment for this range is two OS updates and three years of security patches. As a budget 2024 model, buyers should treat long-term update support as a bonus rather than a certainty.

Connectivity and Additional Features

This is a 4G-only phone: LTE bands including 1/3/5/7/8/20/28/38/40/41, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C. There is no 5G and no NFC. A 3.5mm headphone jack, bottom-ported speaker, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor are included.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Officially announced variants in India were 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, in Voyage Blue and Marble Black. The Narzo N61 had an India-first launch with no official Pakistan release, and in Pakistan it is mainly a used-market phone. Never buy it as 'brand new, box packed' without verifying the unit's actual condition — and always check PTA status for its IMEI.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Realme Narzo N61 launched in India at Rs. 7,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant (July 2024). No official Pakistan launch or official Pakistan price was ever confirmed, so there is no verified current Pakistan retail price. In the Pakistani used market, prices depend on the unit's condition, battery health, and PTA status. Contact Zohaan Mobile Gallery to confirm the latest price and condition for the exact unit in stock.

PTA approval is per-device: it depends on the IMEI and tax status of that specific unit, not the model name alone. Many used imported Narzo units are non-PTA — check the exact unit's status and factor any applicable PTA tax into the total cost.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• One of the cheapest Narzo phones at launch — ultra-budget pricing
• 32MP main camera — unusually high resolution for the price
• 90Hz display, IP54 rating, and ArmorShell durability protection
• 5000mAh battery with claimed 1.8-day endurance
• Dedicated microSD slot (up to 2TB) alongside dual SIM

Limitations:

• 10W charging — very slow; a full charge takes hours
• HD+ (720p) display — less sharp than Full HD+ rivals
• 4G only — no 5G support
• 5MP front camera is weak even for the budget class
• No official Pakistan launch — buy as a used phone with verified condition and PTA status

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The Narzo N61 suits buyers who need the cheapest possible working smartphone for calls, WhatsApp, and light browsing — a backup phone, a child's first phone, or a basic device for an elderly user. Its durability features and big battery make it practical for rough daily use.

Anyone who charges their phone in a hurry should avoid it — the 10W charging is a deal-breaker for impatient users, and the Narzo N63 fixes exactly that weakness with 45W charging. On the used market, always inspect the unit and confirm PTA status.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Realme Narzo N61 in Pakistan?

No official Pakistan price was ever confirmed. It launched in India at Rs. 7,499 (4GB + 64GB) in July 2024. In Pakistan it is a used-market phone — prices depend on the unit's condition, battery health, and PTA status. Confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery.

Which processor does the Narzo N61 use?

It uses the Unisoc Tiger T612, a 12nm octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz, plus a Mali-G57 GPU. The same chip is used in the Narzo N53 and N63.

Why is the Narzo N61's charging so slow?

The N61 ships with only 10W wired charging — a cost-cutting choice that keeps its launch price ultra-low. It is the slowest charging of any recent Narzo N phone; the N53 charges at 33W and the N63 at 45W.

Does the Narzo N61 support 5G?

No. The Narzo N61 is a 4G-only phone. For 5G in the Narzo lineup, consider the Narzo 70 or 80 series.

What are the RAM and storage options?

4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, with a dedicated microSD slot supporting up to 2TB — both SIM slots stay free.

Is the Narzo N61 PTA approved?

PTA approval is per-device, not per-model. The phone was not officially launched in Pakistan, so imported and used units need PTA registration with tax on their specific IMEI. Check the PTA status of the exact unit before purchase.

The Realme Narzo N61 is the definition of an ultra-budget phone: durable, long-lasting, and cheap, with a 32MP camera that punches above its price. Its 10W charging and HD+ display are the honest trade-offs. In Pakistan's used market it can be a sensible basic phone — just verify the unit's condition, battery health, and per-IMEI PTA status before buying.
