Realme Narzo 70x 5G — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme Narzo 70x 5G is the most affordable 5G phone in the Narzo 70 series. Launched in India in April 2024, it offers a 6.72-inch 120Hz display, the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, a 50MP camera, and 45W fast charging at a budget-friendly launch price. This guide covers its full specifications, features, India price reference, and what Pakistani buyers should know about PTA approval and import availability.

Watch out for the confusing naming: the Narzo 70x 5G is the budget model with a Dimensity 6100+ chip and LCD display, while the Narzo 70 5G (no “x”) is a different, stronger phone with a Dimensity 7050 chip and AMOLED display. The Narzo 70 Pro 5G is the camera flagship and the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is the gaming flagship. If you want the cheapest way into Narzo 70-series 5G, the 70x is it.

Design and Build Quality

The Narzo 70x 5G is slim at 7.69 mm and weighs 188 g, with a flat plastic body in Ice Blue or Forest Green. It carries an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, so it handles light splashes but is not waterproof. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor doubles as a power button, which is quick and reliable at this price point.

Display Features

The phone has a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2400), a 120Hz refresh rate, and 950 nits of peak brightness. The refresh rate is dynamic (it can step between 45/48/50/60/90/120Hz) to save battery. While it lacks the deep blacks of the AMOLED panels on the Narzo 70 Pro and 70 Turbo, it is sharp and smooth for everyday use, and Panda Glass protection is included.

Processor and Performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ is a 6nm chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Realme adds vapour-chamber cooling, unusual at this price. It is a solid entry-level 5G chip: smooth for calls, messaging, browsing, and light gaming, but not built for heavy 3D titles. Do not confuse it with the Dimensity 7050 in the vanilla Narzo 70 5G — the 70x's chip is the weaker of the two.

RAM and Storage

The Narzo 70x 5G comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM (an 8GB variant is also listed in some markets) and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with up to 6GB of virtual RAM expansion. Unlike its more expensive siblings, it supports microSD expansion (up to 2TB per launch materials), which is a genuine advantage for media-heavy users.

Camera Features

The dual rear camera pairs a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, PDAF) with a 2MP monochrome sensor. There is no ultrawide or OIS here — this is a straightforward point-and-shoot setup for daylight photos. The 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls, and video recording is capped at 1080p at 30fps.

Battery and Charging

A 5000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC charging is advertised to reach 50% in about 30 minutes. For a budget phone, that charging speed is excellent and matches the charging on the more expensive vanilla Narzo 70 5G. There is no wireless charging.

Software and Updates

The phone launched with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0. Realme's update policy for this range has been modest, so buyers should assume updates will be limited rather than guaranteed over many years. The software includes standard Realme UI features but no flagship-grade extras like GT gaming mode.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Network support includes 5G (SA/NSA), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C. There is no NFC. Stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack are included, and the side-mounted fingerprint sensor doubles as a dynamic button for shortcuts.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Officially announced variants in India are 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB (with an 8GB variant in some listings), in Ice Blue and Forest Green. The Narzo 70x 5G was launched as an India-first device with no confirmed official Pakistan launch, so units in Pakistan are generally imported. Verify the exact variant, condition, and PTA status of the IMEI before purchase.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The Realme Narzo 70x 5G launched in India at Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant (April 2024). No official Pakistan launch or official Pakistan price has been confirmed, so there is no verified current Pakistan retail price. Imported units in Pakistan are priced according to the exchange rate plus the PTA tax on the specific IMEI. Contact Zohaan Mobile Gallery to confirm the latest price and condition for the exact unit in stock.

PTA approval is per-device: it depends on the IMEI and tax status of that specific unit, not the model name alone. Check the PTA status of the exact unit before buying any imported Narzo.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Cheapest entry into Narzo 70-series 5G
• 120Hz Full HD+ display with 950 nits peak brightness
• 45W fast charging — unusually fast for the price
• microSD expansion up to 2TB — a feature its pricier siblings lack
• IP54 rating, 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers

Limitations:

• LCD display instead of AMOLED
• Dimensity 6100+ is modest — weaker than the Narzo 70 5G's Dimensity 7050 despite the similar name
• Basic camera setup: no ultrawide, no OIS, 1080p-only video
• Only an India launch confirmed; units in Pakistan are imported and PTA tax applies per IMEI

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The Narzo 70x 5G suits budget buyers who want 5G, a smooth 120Hz display, and genuinely fast charging without spending much. It is also a strong pick for users who need expandable storage, since it is the only Narzo 70 model with a microSD slot.

Anyone wanting better cameras should step up to the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, and anyone wanting stronger gaming should look at the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G. The plain Narzo 70 5G is the middle ground between this and those flagships.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Realme Narzo 70x 5G in Pakistan?

No official Pakistan price has been confirmed. It launched in India at Rs. 11,999 (4GB + 128GB) in April 2024. In Pakistan, imported units are priced according to the exchange rate and the PTA tax on the specific IMEI — confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery.

What is the difference between the Narzo 70x 5G and the Narzo 70 5G?

They are different phones: the 70x has a Dimensity 6100+ chip and an IPS LCD display, while the plain 70 5G has a stronger Dimensity 7050 chip and an AMOLED display. The 70 5G is the more powerful and more expensive of the two.

Which processor does the Narzo 70x 5G use?

It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, a 6nm octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2 GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, with vapour-chamber cooling.

Does the Narzo 70x 5G support a memory card?

Yes. It is the only Narzo 70-series model with a microSD card slot, supporting expansion up to 2TB according to the launch specifications.

Does the Narzo 70x 5G support 5G in Pakistan?

The hardware supports 5G (SA/NSA) on common bands. Whether 5G works in Pakistan depends on the unit's firmware and local network rollout; confirm band compatibility with the seller for your carrier.

Is the Narzo 70x 5G PTA approved?

PTA approval is per-device, not per-model. The phone was not officially launched in Pakistan, so imported units need PTA registration with tax on their specific IMEI. Check the PTA status of the exact unit before purchase.

Is the Narzo 70x 5G available at Zohaan Mobile Gallery?

Availability changes as stock arrives and sells. Check the product page, message us on WhatsApp at +92 305 8452080, or visit our store at Shop No. 6, First Floor, Iqra Plaza, Railway Road, Rahim Yar Khan to confirm the current unit and its condition.

Final Verdict

The Realme Narzo 70x 5G does exactly what a budget 5G phone should: a smooth 120Hz display, 45W charging, a big battery, and — unusually — a microSD slot. Its LCD panel and modest Dimensity 6100+ chip are the trade-offs, and the name makes it easy to confuse with the stronger vanilla Narzo 70 5G. For Pakistani buyers, confirm the import variant's PTA status and total cost before buying.
