Realme Narzo 50A Prime — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Realme Narzo 50A Prime is the sharp-screened sibling in the Narzo 50 family: unlike the 50A's 720p panel, the Prime gets a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display, plus a 50MP triple camera and a 5000mAh battery with 18W charging — all powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 chip. Launched in India in early 2022 and never officially sold in Pakistan, it reaches local buyers as an import. This guide covers its verified specs, how it differs from the plain Narzo 50A, and what to verify before buying.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The 50A Prime drops the Narzo 50A's racing stripes for a cleaner vertical-stripe texture in Flash Black and Flash Blue. At 8.1mm and 189 grams it is slimmer and lighter than the 50A, feeling more modern in hand. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor doubles as the power button. Build is plastic throughout with no official water or dust resistance rating.

Display Features

The headline upgrade over the Narzo 50A is the display: a 6.6-inch IPS LCD at 1080 x 2408 (Full HD+), roughly 400 pixels per inch, with 600 nits peak brightness. Text is visibly sharper than on the 50A's 720p screen, and video looks cleaner. It is still a 60Hz LCD — no high refresh rate — but for buyers who read a lot or watch video, the resolution jump is the Prime's main reason to exist.

Processor and Performance

The Unisoc Tiger T612 (12nm) is an octa-core chip with two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.8 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores, plus a Mali-G57 GPU. Unisoc's T612 is roughly comparable to entry-level Snapdragon 600-series chips: fine for calls, social apps, YouTube, and light games, but not a gaming chip — the Helio G85 in the plain 50A is actually the stronger performer for games. In 2026, expect comfortable everyday use and modest gaming at low settings.

RAM and Storage

It sold in 4GB RAM variants with 64GB or 128GB of storage, plus a dedicated microSDXC slot — storage expansion without sacrificing the second SIM. 4GB RAM is the minimum comfortable amount in 2026, so keep background apps in check and prefer the 128GB variant on the used market if you store media offline.

Camera Features

The triple rear camera leads with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, PDAF) for detailed daylight shots, backed by a 2MP macro camera and a 0.3MP depth helper. Video records at 1080p at 30fps. Be honest about the helpers: the macro and depth sensors are token additions — the camera lives or dies on the main 50MP sensor, which is decent in daylight and average in low light. The 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls in good lighting.

Battery and Charging

A 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging over USB Type-C delivers a full day of heavy use and well into a second day for light users — a step down from the 50A's 6000mAh cell, but still strong. 18W charging is unhurried by 2026 standards (a full charge takes around two hours), so overnight charging is the practical routine. No wireless charging. On a used unit, ask about battery health.

Software and Updates

Launched on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0. Realme never confirmed a long-term update policy for this India-market model, and imported units commonly sit on old software. Check the installed Android version in settings before buying — a 2022 phone still on Android 11 in 2026 will face growing app-compatibility limits, which should be reflected in the price.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Supports 4G LTE, dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. The Unisoc T612 has no 5G modem — the 50A Prime is 4G-only, and any listing claiming 5G is wrong. Extras include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. FM radio is not included.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Variants: 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB, in Flash Black and Flash Blue. The Narzo 50A Prime was never officially launched in Pakistan — it is an India-first model reaching Pakistan through imports and the used market. Naming trap: the 50A Prime (Unisoc T612, Full HD+, 5000mAh) versus the plain 50A (Helio G85, 720p, 6000mAh) — the Prime wins on display sharpness, the 50A wins on battery and gaming performance. Verify the chipset in settings to confirm which one you are buying.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

There is no official Pakistan price. Aggregator listings disagree (roughly Rs. 26,999–39,999 across sites, unverified), and used-market pricing moves with condition and PTA status — confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: Imported Narzo 50A Prime units are frequently not PTA approved. PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status — an unapproved unit's PTA tax can rival the phone's price. How to check PTA approval.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• 6.6-inch Full HD+ display — visibly sharper than the plain 50A's 720p panel
• 50MP main camera with PDAF for solid daylight photos
• 5000mAh battery with 18W charging; slim 8.1mm body
• Dedicated microSD slot alongside dual SIM

Limitations:

• Never officially launched in Pakistan — import/used market only, no local warranty
• PTA tax risk on unapproved units
• Unisoc T612 is weaker for gaming than the 50A's Helio G85
• Ageing Android 11 software with no confirmed update path

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers who want the sharpest screen in the Narzo 50 family for reading and video at a low used price, and who verify the IMEI and battery health first.

Look elsewhere if: gaming performance or maximum battery matter more (the plain 50A wins both), or you want a PTA-approved phone with warranty — browse the Realme collection or all mobiles.

The Prime has a sharper Full HD+ display and the Unisoc T612; the plain 50A has a bigger 6000mAh battery, the stronger Helio G85 for gaming, but only a 720p display.

Final Verdict

The Narzo 50A Prime is the display pick of the Narzo 50 family — Full HD+ sharpness at a low used price — but it trades away the plain 50A's bigger battery and gaming chip to get there. As with every Narzo in Pakistan, the deal stands or falls on PTA status: verify the IMEI first, then judge whether the price is right for an imported 2022 phone.
