iQOO Neo 9 Pro Price in Pakistan & Full Specifications

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro is the most confusingly named phone in this slice — the name covers two different phones. China's Neo 9 Pro (December 2023) runs the Dimensity 9300; India's Neo 9 Pro (February 2024) is the Chinese Neo 9 rebadged with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Pakistan's grey market can carry either, so this guide leads with the naming trap, then covers the Indian Snapdragon version's real specs (what Pakistani listings usually describe), price estimates and PTA warnings.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The Indian version: 163.5 x 75.7 x 8 mm, 190-196 grams, with a distinctive dual-tone design — Fiery Red vegan leather paired with a dark camera module, or understated Conqueror Black. Glass front, in-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and IR blaster. No headphone jack, no official IP rating.

Display Features

6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED, 1 billion colours, 1-144Hz adaptive refresh, HDR10+, 1260 x 2800 and a claimed 3000-nit peak (1400 nits HBM) — on paper the brightest Neo display yet. Both regional versions share this panel, so the display is not where the two differ.

Processor and Performance

The trap matters here. The Indian/global Neo 9 Pro — what Pakistani listings describe (8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB) — uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) with Adreno 740: efficient, cool, superb for gaming with broad optimisation. China's Neo 9 Pro instead uses the Dimensity 9300, which wins benchmarks but is rarer locally. Know which chip the unit has before discussing price.

RAM and Storage

Indian version: 8GB with 128GB or 256GB, or 12GB with 256GB — all UFS 4.0, no card slot. Chinese version: 12GB/16GB with 256GB/512GB/1TB. Pakistani listings match India's lineup. The 8GB/256GB Indian variant is the sensible buy — 8GB is adequate on the efficient 8 Gen 2.

Camera Features

Both versions share the hardware: 50MP f/1.9 Sony IMX920 with OIS and vivo VCS tuning plus an 8MP ultrawide. The IMX920 is excellent — detailed, natural daylight shots and strong night mode. The 8MP ultrawide is the weak link on both; no telephoto. Camera performance does not differ meaningfully between versions.

Battery and Charging

5160mAh with 120W wired charging on both versions — full in about 25 minutes, excellent endurance from the efficient chips and LTPO display. Same import rule as ever: confirm the original 120W charger is in the box. No wireless charging.

Software and Updates

The Indian version launched with Android 14 and Funtouch 14, with iQOO promising 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches — unusually generous for the Neo line and a real reason to prefer it. The Chinese version runs OriginOS 4 with the standard China-ROM caveats. Check the actual software and patch level before paying.

Connectivity and Additional Features

5G (SA/NSA) on dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 7 (Chinese version; verify on the Indian unit), Bluetooth 5.3+, NFC, infrared blaster, multi-GNSS and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. Pakistani LTE bands supported on both. Stereo speakers. No FM radio, no eSIM.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Indian/global (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2): 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB in Fiery Red and Conqueror Black — launched Feb-Mar 2024. Chinese (Dimensity 9300): 12GB/256GB up to 16GB/1TB — launched Dec 2023. Pakistan's grey market mostly carries the Indian version. Confirm the chipset in the phone's settings — 'About phone' never lies, but listings sometimes do.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

Pakistani listings describe the Indian Snapdragon version. As of 11 October 2026: mobileinto lists Rs. 127,999 (8GB/128GB) to Rs. 141,999 (12GB/256GB) expected; newmobileprice.pk Rs. 133,999 expected; priceupdate.com.pk Rs. 130,800. Estimates, not verified live prices — a realistic band is roughly Rs. 120,000–140,000 for 8GB/256GB. The Chinese Dimensity 9300 version has no reliable Pakistan pricing — treat any quote with suspicion. PTA tax is substantial either way.

iQOO has never officially sold phones in Pakistan, so every iQOO Neo 9 Pro here is a grey-market or used import with no official local warranty. Each imported unit must be registered with the PTA under DIRBS rules or it stops working on Pakistani SIMs after the grace period — and the tax on a flagship-class phone adds tens of thousands of rupees. Always verify the IMEI before buying and budget the tax on top: see our PTA approval guide and how to check PTA status.

Who Should Consider This Phone?

The Neo 9 Pro suits buyers wanting Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 performance with proper Google services and iQOO's best Neo update promise — the Indian version specifically. For careful shoppers who verify the chipset in settings first. Anyone offered a 'Neo 9 Pro' without clear regional identity should wait until it is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there two different Neo 9 Pro phones?

iQOO reused the name: China's Neo 9 Pro (Dec 2023) has the Dimensity 9300, India's (Feb 2024) is the Chinese Neo 9 rebadged with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Same name, different chips — always check 'About phone' in settings.

Which Neo 9 Pro is sold in Pakistan's grey market?

Usually the Indian Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 version — Pakistani listings (8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB) match India's lineup. The Chinese Dimensity version is rare locally with no reliable pricing.

Is the Indian Neo 9 Pro just a rebadged Neo 9?

Yes — the Indian Neo 9 Pro is the Chinese iQOO Neo 9 with a new name and Funtouch 14. Same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, display, cameras, battery and charging.

What update support does it get?

iQOO promised the Indian version 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches — the best commitment in the Neo line. Verify the patch level on any used unit.

How good is the camera?

The 50MP Sony IMX920 with OIS is genuinely excellent — same sensor as the Neo 9, strong daylight and night performance. The 8MP ultrawide is average; no telephoto.

Does the Indian version have Google services?

Yes — Funtouch 14 on the Indian version includes full Google services, a key advantage over China-ROM (OriginOS) units.

Is it PTA approved in Pakistan?

No. Whichever regional version you find, it needs individual PTA DIRBS registration with substantial tax. Verify the IMEI before buying.

Do that and you get 2024-flagship hardware at an import price well under official rivals.
