iQOO Neo 7 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The iQOO Neo 7 launched in China in October 2022 with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, a 50MP Sony IMX766V main camera with OIS, and a 5,000mAh battery with blazing 120W charging. iQOO never officially launched the Neo 7 in Pakistan, so local units are imported or used-market handsets. Naming trap: the India 'iQOO Neo 7' is a different phone with a Dimensity 8200 and 64MP camera — this guide covers the China Dimensity 9000+ version.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The China Neo 7 uses a 6.78-inch AMOLED with a punch-hole camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The body measures 164.8 x 76.9 x 8.5mm (8.9mm on some finishes) at 197g, with a glass front, plastic frame and plastic back, in Orange, Black and Blue. It's a big phone — the largest screen in this batch — with a clean design and no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Display Features

The 6.78-inch 1080 x 2400 AMOLED runs at 120Hz with HDR10+ and up to 1500 nits peak brightness — the brightest and largest display in this article's batch. Colours, contrast and outdoor visibility are excellent, making it the best screen here for video and gaming.

Processor and Performance

The Dimensity 9000+ (4nm) with Mali-G710 MC10 was MediaTek's 2022 flagship — matching or beating the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in efficiency while running cooler than the 8 Gen 1. For sustained gaming and heavy multitasking it is arguably the best-balanced flagship chip in this batch. Paired with UFS 3.1 storage, the Neo 7 remains a strong performer in 2026.

RAM and Storage

The Neo 7 shipped in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage and no microSD slot. The 12GB + 256GB variant is the sweet spot for longevity; confirm the exact configuration on any used unit before buying.

Camera Features

The triple camera is led by the 50MP Sony IMX766V main sensor with OIS — a genuinely excellent sensor that also appeared in much more expensive flagships — joined by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro, with 4K@30fps video and a 16MP front camera. This is the best camera hardware in the batch: the IMX766V with OIS delivers the strongest low-light and video performance of any Neo covered here.

Battery and Charging

A 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging — the fastest charging and joint-largest battery in this batch. A full charge takes roughly 25 minutes from empty, which transforms how you use the phone: even a nearly dead battery is usable within minutes. Used units need the usual health check, but 120W makes partial top-ups painless. No wireless charging.

Software and Updates

The China Neo 7 launched on Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean, and no official long-term update commitment was found in the reviewed sources. That's newer than the 2021–early-2022 models here, but still treat used units as running 2022-era software and verify app compatibility.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The Neo 7 supports 5G with dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 with aptX, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack and no FM radio. As a China-version import, confirm the specific unit's 4G/5G bands against Pakistani carriers before buying.

Variants, Colours and Availability

China variants spanned 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB in Orange, Black and Blue. Critical distinction: the India-market 'iQOO Neo 7' (launched February 2023) is a different phone with a Dimensity 8200, 64MP camera and Funtouch OS — always verify the chipset in settings. The China version was never officially sold in Pakistan; all local units are imports or used handsets.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

Dated estimates for the China iQOO Neo 7 include Rs. 84,999 expected (mobileinto.com) and Rs. 122,439 (technologistan.pk) — but note the second figure is a straight currency conversion of an overseas USD listing from September 2026, not a Pakistan market price. Used units are priced by individual sellers on variant, condition and battery health. Confirm the current price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: Because this is an import-only device, PTA tax/duty applies for use with a Pakistani SIM. PTA approval is per device and IMEI — never assume a unit is compliant. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI by SMS to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status, and check the applicable tax on the PTA website. How to check PTA approval and what PTA approval means.
