iQOO 15R — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The iQOO 15R launched in India on 24 February 2026 as the first phone in iQOO's new "R" series — a slimmer, more affordable flagship built around the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, a huge 7,600mAh battery, and a 144Hz AMOLED display. For Pakistani buyers, the key fact is the same as with every iQOO phone: it was never officially launched in Pakistan, so any unit here is an import or used-market device. This guide covers its verified specifications, import pricing, and the PTA checks you need before buying.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The 15R's headline design achievement is fitting a 7,600mAh battery into a body just 7.9mm thick and 202 grams — genuinely slim for a phone with this much battery. iQOO developed the design after testing multiple form factors for one-hand comfort, and it shows: at 74.42mm wide with a metal frame and symmetrical bezels, it's noticeably easier to hold than the chunkier iQOO 15. Two colours were launched: Dark Knight and Triumph Silver. The IP68 + IP69 rating means full dust protection and resistance to high-pressure water, a flagship-grade durability feature.

Display Features

The 6.59-inch AMOLED panel delivers 1.5K resolution (1260 x 2750) with a 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness — extremely bright for outdoor use. HDR10+ is supported, and 4,320Hz PWM dimming reduces eye strain in low light, a thoughtful touch for night-time users. Schott Shield glass protects the screen. iQOO deliberately chose this slightly smaller size to balance immersion with one-hand usability.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3nm) is Qualcomm's latest flagship-tier chip, with iQOO claiming 36% better CPU performance over the previous generation. It's joined by the Q2 Supercomputing chip, which helps the phone sustain a 144Hz frame rate in supported games. iQOO claims an AnTuTu score above 3.5 million — treat that as a manufacturer claim under lab conditions. A 6.5K IceCore vapour-chamber cooling system manages heat. In real terms, this is flagship-level power at a mid-range-flagship price.

RAM and Storage

Three configurations launched: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB, using fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. There is no microSD slot, so heavy users should aim for 512GB. 8GB is fine for everyday use and gaming; 12GB adds headroom for heavy multitasking.

Camera Features

The 15R keeps cameras simple: a dual rear setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-700V main sensor (1/1.56-inch, f/1.88, OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide, plus a 32MP front camera. Both front and rear shoot 4K at 60fps. This is a practical, no-gimmick camera system — the large main sensor with OIS should deliver solid daylight and night shots, but there is no telephoto lens, so zoom is digital only. Gaming-first buyers won't mind; photography enthusiasts should know the trade-off.

Battery and Charging

The 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery is the 15R's standout feature — iQOO claims up to 16.3 hours of video playback. 100W wired charging takes it to 50% in about 33 minutes and to full in just over an hour; it also supports PD charging. There is no wireless charging. The battery is non-removable.

Software and Updates

The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box, with iQOO promising 4 years of OS upgrades (up to Android 20) and 6 years of security patches — strong long-term support. It also includes Remote PC access, letting you control your computer from the phone. As with all iQOO imports, the software build is tuned for India/China, so some features may behave differently on Pakistani networks.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Full 5G (SA/NSA) with wide band support, dual nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C, NFC, and an infrared sensor. The in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is fast and reliable, and stereo speakers handle audio. GPS supports multiple satellite systems (L1+L5 dual-band).

Variants, Colours and Availability

Launched in three variants — 8GB + 256GB (₹44,999), 12GB + 256GB (₹47,999), and 12GB + 512GB (₹52,999) — in Dark Knight and Triumph Silver. It went on sale in India on 3 March 2026 via Amazon India and iQOO's own store. No Pakistan variant exists. Units in Pakistan are imports, typically from India or the Gulf, sold through the used/import market.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The verified India launch price is ₹44,999 – ₹52,999 depending on variant (February 2026). There is no official iQOO 15R price in Pakistan. At approximate conversion rates, the Indian price equates to roughly Rs. 135,000–160,000 — but that is a currency conversion only, not a Pakistan market price. Imported units here are priced by individual sellers. Confirm the current price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: As an import-only device, PTA tax/duty applies for Pakistani SIM use. PTA approval is per device and IMEI — never assume compliance. Before paying, SMS the IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.
