Design and Build Quality
The Y7 Pro 2019 introduced a waterdrop (dewdrop) notch and a near-bezel-less 6.26-inch display to Huawei's budget line, with dimensions of 158.9 x 76.9 x 8.1 mm and a weight of 168 g. A rear fingerprint scanner and face unlock cover biometrics, and it was sold in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Coral Red. Build is glass front with a plastic back and frame — standard for the segment. On used units, inspect the notch area and back panel for wear.
Display Features
The 6.26-inch IPS LCD panel delivers 720 x 1520 HD+ resolution (~269 ppi) in a 19:9 ratio with about 80% screen-to-body ratio. It is a comfortable size for video and reading, though HD+ softness is noticeable next to Full HD phones. There is no official display-protection glass rating confirmed.
Processor and Performance
The Snapdragon 450 (14 nm, 8 x Cortex-A53 at 1.8 GHz, Adreno 506) was the budget workhorse of 2019. In 2026 it handles calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, and light YouTube acceptably, but 3GB of RAM limits multitasking and heavier apps will stutter. Light casual games run; demanding 3D games do not. Treat it as a basics phone.
RAM and Storage
The Pakistan variant ships with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable via microSD up to 512GB — but the card slot shares the second SIM slot, so dual-SIM users must choose between a second SIM and extra storage. 32GB fills fast; use cloud or SD storage for media.
Camera Features
The dual rear camera combines a 13MP main sensor (f/1.8, PDAF) with a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor for portrait/bokeh shots, plus LED flash and 1080p video. The front 16MP camera supports face unlock, a selfie toning flash, and AI beautification modes. Daylight photos are respectable for the class; low-light shots are noisy, as expected at this price and age.
Battery and Charging
The 4,000mAh battery was a key selling point — a full day of moderate use was realistic when new. On a used unit, battery health is the real question; ask the seller and test drain before buying. Charging is 10W over microUSB (slow by modern standards), and there is no wireless charging.
Software and Updates
Runs Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2, and crucially ships with full Google Mobile Services — Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, and Maps work natively, a major used-market advantage over Huawei's 2020 models. Official updates ended years ago, so verify that your essential apps (especially banking apps) still support Android 8.1 before buying.
Connectivity and Additional Features
GSM / HSPA / LTE with hybrid dual SIM (Nano-SIM). Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS/BDS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and microUSB 2.0. NFC is market-dependent and was not officially confirmed for Pakistan. Sensors: rear fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity, compass. 10W wired charging (5V/2A).
Variants, Colours and Availability
The Pakistan variant is 3GB + 32GB in Aurora Blue, Midnight Black, and Coral Red. The Y7 Pro 2019 is very close in hardware to the Y7 Prime 2019 (same chipset, display size, battery) — the two were sold under different names in different markets, with slight cosmetic and camera-software differences. The phone is discontinued; only used or refurbished units remain. A claimed "Enjoy 9e" alias for this model could not be verified and appears to refer to a different device — it is not stated as fact here.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
The official launch price was Rs. 28,499 (January–February 2019, Huawei Pakistan). Discontinued now; used/refurbished units are listed around Rs. 25,000–27,700 depending on condition. Confirm the current price and handset condition with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Who Should Consider This Phone?
Good fit: budget buyers who want a big-screen Huawei with full Google apps for basic use — calls, WhatsApp, YouTube, and selfies. The 16MP front camera makes it the better pick over the Y7 Pro 2018 for selfie users.
Look elsewhere if: you need Full HD sharpness, smooth multitasking, or gaming — step up to a used Y9 2019 (Kirin 710, FHD+ display) or browse newer options in all mobiles.

Final Verdict
The Huawei Y7 Pro 2019 is a solid ultra-budget used buy: big dewdrop display, 4,000mAh battery, 16MP selfies, and full Google apps for roughly Rs. 26,000. It is nearly identical to the Y7 Prime 2019, so buy whichever is in better condition. Its age shows in performance and updates, but for basic daily use it still earns its price.
