Huawei Y7 Prime 2018 Price in Pakistan & Specs
Huawei Y7 Prime (2018) — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Y7 Prime (2018) is the global version of the Nova 2 Lite — same phone, different badge — and it has almost nothing in common with the Y7 Prime (2017) beyond the name. With a tall 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, and 3GB/32GB as standard, it's the surer, better-documented sibling of the plain Y7 2018. This guide covers its verified specifications at roughly Rs. 11,000 used, and clears up Huawei's naming tangle once and for all.

Design and Build Quality
The 2018 Huawei budget look: tall 18:9 body, 155 g, 7.8 mm thin, rear fingerprint sensor. It shares its chassis with the Nova 2 Lite, Enjoy 8, and Honor 7C family — a proven, likeable design. Blue is the standout colour. Check the fingerprint sensor and screen edges on used units.
Display Features
A 5.99-inch IPS LCD at 1440 x 720 (~269 ppi), 18:9. Tall, modern-feeling, and good for video and reading — the 18:9 ratio was the big 2018 upgrade over the 2017 Prime's 16:9. HD+ keeps it affordable; sharpness is adequate, not impressive.
Processor and Performance
The Snapdragon 430: octa-core 1.4 GHz with Adreno 505. A dependable budget chip that handles everyday apps — WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube, browsing — without drama. It's a step behind the Snapdragon 435 in the 2017 Prime for sustained tasks, but fine for typical use. Not a gaming chip.
RAM and Storage
3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in as standard (4GB/64GB on some variants), with a dedicated microSD slot up to 256GB — dual SIM stays intact. This is the meaningful upgrade over the plain Y7 2018's 2GB/16GB, and the main reason to pick the Prime.
Camera Features
Dual rear cameras: 13MP f/2.2 main with PDAF plus a 2MP depth sensor for portrait-mode blur, LED flash, 1080p video; 8MP f/2.0 front camera with a soft-light LED flash for night selfies. Daylight photos are decent, portraits get pleasant background blur, and the front flash is genuinely useful. Best camera setup in this price bracket of the 2018 Y family.
Battery and Charging
3,000mAh — and here's the honest trade-off: the 2018 Prime dropped to 3,000mAh from the 2017 Prime's 4,000mAh. It's a one-day battery for light-to-moderate use; heavy users charge by evening. If battery is your priority, the 2017 Prime or Y7 2019 serves you better. Standard-speed charging over microUSB.
Software and Updates
Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8 and full licensed Google apps — safely pre-restriction. Oreo is unsupported but app compatibility is decent for mainstream apps. No updates expected; what runs today is what you get.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, FM radio, and microUSB 2.0. NFC exists only on the specific LDN-TL10 model — don't count on it unless the unit confirms it.
Variants, Colours and Availability
The Y7 Prime 2018 is the Nova 2 Lite — identical hardware (LDN-L21, LDN-LX2, LDN-TL10 models), different badge by region. It's also kin to the Y7 2018, Y7 Pro 2018, and Enjoy 8. Colours: Black, Gold, Blue. Discontinued — and since a separate Nova 2 Lite article exists in our catalog, shop whichever badge is cheaper used; they're the same phone.
