Huawei Pura 90s Pro — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Huawei Pura 90s Pro is the global-market name for the Pura 90 Pro: Huawei launched it under '90s' branding in markets like Malaysia at the 14 July 2026 global event in Kuala Lumpur, with a single 12GB + 512GB configuration. If you are shopping for a Pura 90 Pro outside China, this is likely the box you will actually find. Like every Huawei flagship since 2019, this phone runs on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) — there are no Google Play Services, no Play Store, and no native Google apps. Apps come from Huawei AppGallery or third-party sources. If your daily life depends on Google apps, banking apps, or Google-backed services, verify compatibility before buying.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The 90s Pro wears the global-market design: the same flat 2.5D display, straight-edge metal frame, and gradient finishes as the Chinese Pura 90 Pro, but in the global colour names — Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White, and Mulberry Black. The compact 157.8 x 74.5 x 8.2 mm footprint (inferred from Pro hardware) and IP68/IP69 sealing carry over. If you put it next to a Chinese Pura 90 Pro, you would struggle to tell them apart — the difference is the box it came in and the software it runs.

Display Features

The display is the same 6.6-inch LTPO OLED class as the Pura 90 Pro: 1256 x 2760 resolution, adaptive 1–120Hz, HDR, flat and protector-friendly. Third-party listings for the 90s Pro confirm the 6.6-inch 1256x2760 panel directly, so this is one spec you do not need to infer.

Processor and Performance

The Kirin 9030S (third-party reported) is listed directly for the 90s Pro in Pakistani retail databases — the same AI-focused chip as the Chinese Pro. Expect identical flagship-level performance: smooth daily use, strong camera processing, and gaming headroom a notch below the newest Snapdragon/Dimensity parts (verified benchmarks unavailable).

RAM and Storage

Huawei Malaysia sells the 90s Pro in a single 12GB + 512GB configuration; Pakistani listings also show a 12GB + 256GB tier. Either way, 12GB RAM is generous, and there is no microSD slot — choose storage at purchase.

Camera Features

Pakistani listings confirm a 50MP main camera on the 90s Pro, and the hardware is inferred to match the Pura 90 Pro: 50MP RYYB main with variable f/1.4–f/4.0 aperture and OIS, 50MP 4x periscope telephoto with OIS, and 12.5MP ultrawide, with second-generation Red Maple colour imaging. The front camera is inferred at 13MP. Because Huawei never published a separate 90s spec sheet that could be verified, treat the telephoto and ultrawide details as inferred-from-Pro rather than independently confirmed.

Battery and Charging

Third-party listings confirm a 6,000mAh battery for the 90s Pro. Charging follows the Pro hardware: 100W wired and 80W wireless per launch reporting (some databases list 66W/50W — the conflict is noted as unconfirmed). All-day endurance with fast refuelling either way.

Software and Updates

Global units are reported to run EMUI 16 (listed as Android 16-based in one retail database — third-party, unverified against Huawei documentation), rather than the HarmonyOS 6.1 of Chinese units. Confirm the exact software build and language support on the unit before buying, since China and global builds differ.

Connectivity and Additional Features

5G, dual nano-SIM with eSIM support listed on some 90s retail specs (max two active), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C. No headphone jack, no card slot. Satellite messaging features are China-network only and do not apply.

Variants, Colours and Availability

The 90s Pro launched in Malaysia on 14 July 2026 alongside the 90s Pro Max, with early-bird reservations offering rebates — Huawei's standard playbook for global Pura launches. Colours: Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White, Mulberry Black. No official Pakistan launch; units here are unofficial imports, often sourced from Southeast Asian stock.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

A Pakistani retail listing (Parhlo directories, October 2026) shows a box price of Rs. 284,699 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration — treat this as a single dated data point, not a market price. The equivalent China-branded Pura 90 Pro is estimated around Rs. 249,999–269,999 for similar tiers, so compare both before paying a premium for the "s" badge. Confirm the live price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery.

PTA: PTA approval is per device and IMEI, not per model. These Pura phones reach Pakistan through unofficial/import channels, so before paying, send the phone's IMEI by SMS to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval and what PTA approval means.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• Global-market unit with EMUI software — no Chinese bloatware or region locks to worry about
• Same 2026 flagship hardware as the Pura 90 Pro: Kirin 9030S, 50MP triple camera, 6,000mAh
• Compact 6.6-inch gradient design with IP68/IP69 sealing
• Fast 100W/80W-class charging

Limitations:

• Hardware equivalence with the Pura 90 Pro is inferred, not officially confirmed by Huawei
• No Google Play Services — the ecosystem wall stands
• Single dated Pakistan price point; import-only with seller-dependent warranty
• No microSD slot; charging specs inconsistently reported

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: buyers who specifically want the international version of Huawei's 2026 flagship — global software, no Chinese-market quirks — with top-tier zoom photography.

Look elsewhere if: the price premium over the China-branded Pura 90 Pro is large for what is essentially the same hardware, or if Google services are essential — browse the full mobile collection.

Final Verdict

The Pura 90s Pro is simply the Pura 90 Pro in its travelling clothes — the version you will actually encounter outside China. Judge it on the same merits: excellent zoom cameras, new AI-focused chip, and big battery, against the same HMS limitation and import-only reality. Do not pay a large premium over the China-branded Pro for the "s" alone.
