Huawei P60 Pro — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Huawei P60 Pro is the camera flagship of Huawei's 2023 P-series — pairing a 48MP variable-aperture main camera with a 48MP periscope telephoto that doubles as a macro camera, plus 88W charging. This guide covers its verified specifications, the two things that define it (4G-only chip, HMS-only software), and what it costs in Pakistan — so you can decide with facts, not hype.

Design and Build Quality

The P60 Pro keeps the refined glass-and-aluminium flagship build with an IP68 rating (up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes) — a rating some rivals still skip. The Rococo Pearl finish gives it a pearlescent, mother-of-pearl texture that stands out without being loud; Black, Emerald Green, and Violet cover the classics. At 200 g and 8.3 mm it feels solid and balanced.

Display Features

The 6.67-inch LTPO OLED delivers 1220 x 2700 resolution (~444 ppi) with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 1-billion-colour output — flagship-grade in every measurable way, protected by Kunlun Glass. LTPO scaling trims the refresh rate when idle to save battery. This is the same excellent panel as the standard P60.

Processor and Performance

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G is a fast, efficient flagship chip — but the 4G qualifier is the catch: the 5G modem is disabled, so this is a 4G-only phone, permanently. Unlike the older Snapdragon 888, the 8+ Gen 1 runs cool and sustains performance well, making it genuinely good for gaming and heavy multitasking even in 2026.

RAM and Storage

Configurations: 8GB or 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB of storage. The 8GB + 256GB variant covers most buyers; 12GB + 512GB suits power users. Expansion is via Huawei's proprietary Nano Memory (NM) cards up to 256GB in the shared SIM slot — standard microSD does not fit.

Camera Features

This is the P60 Pro's reason to exist: a 48MP main camera with physically variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) and OIS, a 48MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom that also shoots macro (OIS), and a 13MP ultrawide — with Huawei's XMAGE imaging. The telephoto-macro combination is genuinely unusual: the same lens handles distant zoom and extreme close-ups. The front camera is 13MP. For stills, this is one of the most versatile camera systems on any phone.

Battery and Charging

A 4,815mAh battery with 88W wired and 50W wireless fast charging — among the fastest charging setups in its class. 88W takes the phone from empty to full in well under an hour. Used units will have some battery wear — check health before buying.

Software and Updates

HarmonyOS 3.1 (China) or EMUI 13.1 (global) with no Google Play Services and no Play Store — the HMS-only reality persists on the P60 series. AppGallery covers everyday apps; Google-dependent services (banking apps with Google hooks, Maps, YouTube, Google sign-in) are the friction points. HarmonyOS 3.1 is polished and the P60 Pro should still receive security updates, but buy the software as it is today.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE only — the chipset physically lacks an enabled 5G modem, so no update can add 5G. Also on board: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, dual-band GPS with GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo/NavIC, infrared blaster, stereo speakers, and an under-display optical fingerprint sensor. No 3.5mm headphone jack.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Verified configurations: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB, in Black, Emerald Green, Violet, or Rococo Pearl. The P60 Pro never officially launched in Pakistan — units here are imported or used, so verify condition and IMEI per unit. Do not confuse it with the standard P60 (12MP telephoto, 66W charging) or the P60 Art (luxury design edition, bigger battery).

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

No official Pakistan launch, so prices are dated estimates for imported/used units: WhatMobile lists an expected price around Rs. 164,999, while MobileInto shows roughly Rs. 169,999 (8GB + 256GB) to Rs. 184,999 (12GB + 512GB) — checked 2026-10-11. The Zohaan Mobile Gallery catalog reference is Rs. 164,999 — a reference only, not a current market price. Condition and variant drive the price — confirm with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, never per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. This matters even more for discontinued and grey-market units. How to check PTA approval.

Final Verdict

The P60 Pro is Huawei's best camera phone of 2023 — the variable-aperture main camera and telephoto-macro are genuinely special, and 88W charging, the LTPO display, and IP68 build round out a proper flagship. The 4G-only chip and HMS-only software are the permanent trade-offs. As a used camera-first flagship on 4G, it remains one of the most capable options in its band.
