Huawei P30 Lite — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Huawei P30 Lite is the people's P30 — the same 2019 design language and full Google apps as its flagship sibling, distilled into a Kirin 710 mid-ranger with a 32MP selfie camera that was best-in-class at launch. It sold in China as the Nova 4e, so that name on a listing means the same phone. Listed in Pakistan at Rs. 39,999 — a price still verifiable on current listings — it is now a used-market value pick. This guide covers the verified specs, the Nova 4e equivalence, and the New Edition trap to avoid.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The P30 Lite mirrors the P30's glass-front design at 152.9 x 72.7 x 7.4 mm and 159 g, with a dewdrop notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor below the vertical triple-camera module. Peacock Blue was the signature colour, alongside Midnight Black and Pearl White. It feels premium for a mid-ranger, with no water-resistance rating. On used units, check the glossy back and the camera module for scratches.

Display Features

The 6.15-inch LTPS IPS LCD at 1080 x 2312 pixels (~415 ppi) with a dewdrop notch is sharp and colour-accurate for the class — a genuinely good screen for video and reading in 2026. It is a 60Hz panel, standard for 2019. Inspect used units for scratches and dead pixels, and confirm the dewdrop area responds to touch.

Processor and Performance

The Kirin 710 (12 nm) — four Cortex-A73 at 2.2 GHz plus four Cortex-A53 at 1.7 GHz with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU — is the same proven mid-range chip as in the P Smart+ 2019 and P20 lite 2019, and it remains adequate in 2026 for social apps, video, browsing and light gaming. With 4GB of RAM, keep multitasking moderate; heavy games need lowered settings.

RAM and Storage

The Pakistan variant shipped with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (a 6GB version exists in some regions — verify in settings), plus a microSD slot supporting cards up to 512GB. 128GB plus expansion is generous for a mid-ranger and removes the storage anxiety of the fixed-storage flagships. 4GB of RAM is fine for typical daily use.

Camera Features

The triple rear camera combines a 24MP main sensor (f/1.8) with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth sensor, with LED flash and 1080p video — good daylight photos and useful ultrawide versatility for the price. The 32MP front camera (f/2.0) was the P30 Lite's standout feature: detailed, sharp selfies that embarrassed more expensive phones in 2019. Low-light performance on both sides is average by modern standards.

Battery and Charging

A 3,340mAh battery with 18W fast charging (9V/2A) is verified — a full day of moderate use when new, with reasonably quick top-ups. On a seven-year-old used unit, check real battery drain before paying; 18W charging helps offset a tired battery during the day. No wireless charging.

Software and Updates

The P30 Lite launched on Android 9.0 (Pie) with EMUI 9.1 and, like the P30, shipped with full Google Mobile Services — certified before the mid-2019 restrictions. Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, Maps and Pakistani banking apps all work natively. No official update path beyond its launch software was confirmed at the time of writing.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Dual-SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX, GPS with GLONASS/Galileo, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG — plus a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear fingerprint sensor. This is one of the most complete connectivity sets in the lineup. No water-resistance rating.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Pakistan variant: 4GB + 128GB (6GB versions exist in some regions). Colours: Peacock Blue, Midnight Black, Pearl White. Two naming traps: the Nova 4e is the same phone (China name — identical specs), and the P30 Lite New Edition (Jan 2020) is a different phone with a 48MP camera and Google services — do not confuse their prices or specs.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

The P30 Lite's Pakistan price is verifiable on current listings: Rs. 39,999 on WhatMobile (verified 2026-10-11), matching Zohaan Mobile Gallery's catalog reference of Rs. 39,999. The phone is discontinued, so treat this as the last verifiable listing price and confirm the current figure with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying — used prices move with condition and PTA status. Do not confuse it with the P30 Lite New Edition, which lists around Rs. 70,000.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Google apps: the P30 Lite launched before the mid-2019 US restrictions on Huawei, so it ships with full Google Mobile Services — Play Store, Gmail, YouTube and Maps work natively, and Pakistani banking and government apps run normally. That is its single biggest advantage over newer Huawei phones in the used market.
