Huawei Nova Y70 Plus — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Huawei Nova Y70 Plus sits just above the Nova Y70: same 6.75-inch screen and 6,000mAh battery, but with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage options. Before the specs, the honest warning this phone needs: Huawei never officially confirmed its chipset — listings disagree wildly, and one popular site's 'Snapdragon 778G' claim does not hold up. This guide gives you the verified specifications, the chipset question in full, expected Pakistan pricing, and whether the Plus is worth the premium over the standard Y70.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

The Y70 Plus shares the Y70's design language: a large 6.75-inch body, flat plastic frame, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple-camera module. Crystal Blue, Midnight Black and Pearl White are the listed colours. At 199g and 9mm it is a substantial phone, but the size is all battery. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present per retailer listings — a small but real advantage over some newer rivals that dropped it.

Display Features

Same story as the standard Y70: a 6.75-inch IPS LCD at HD+ resolution (~260 ppi), 60Hz. Big and readable, but visibly soft next to Full-HD panels — text lacks crispness and fine detail in photos is muted. If the display matters to you, this is the phone's weakest link relative to its price; the money here went to battery and memory instead.

Processor and Performance

This is where honesty matters most. WhatMobile Pakistan lists a Snapdragon 778G 4G for the Y70 Plus — but that claim appears nowhere in Huawei's materials and contradicts every other source, which lists the chipset as unspecified. A Snapdragon 778G would make this a dramatically faster phone than its price suggests, which is exactly why the claim is suspicious. Until Huawei or a teardown confirms the silicon, do not buy this phone for its processor. Judge it on the verified parts: battery, cameras, memory and price.

RAM and Storage

The Plus justifies its name here: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations, all with microSDXC expansion (via a shared SIM slot). The 6GB + 128GB variant is the sensible pick — meaningfully better multitasking than the standard Y70's 4GB. Retailer listings (ishopping.pk) show the 4GB + 64GB variant around Rs. 52,800, which makes the expected Rs. 44,999 listings look optimistic — compare carefully.

Camera Features

Triple rear: 48MP main (f/1.8, PDAF) + 5MP ultrawide (120°) + 2MP depth, with an 8MP front camera. Identical on paper to the standard Y70, and that is fine — the 48MP main sensor takes good daylight photos and the ultrawide is genuinely useful. Night performance is modest, video is 1080p. Buy it for the same camera reasons as the Y70, not for an upgrade.

Battery and Charging

6,000mAh — the Y-series signature. Two-day endurance for moderate users is realistic. The charging speed, however, is not officially confirmed in the sources reviewed (the standard Y70's 22.5W is often assumed but not verified for the Plus), so expect standard-speed charging until confirmed. No wireless charging.

Software and Updates

EMUI 12 with Huawei Mobile Services and no Google Play Services. Same condition as every modern Huawei Y phone: stable interface, but no native Google Maps, Gmail or YouTube. Verify your essential apps work without Google services before buying — this matters more than any spec on this phone.

Connectivity and Additional Features

4G LTE on dual Nano-SIM (dual standby), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, full satellite positioning and USB Type-C with OTG. NFC is not listed for this model. No 5G. The 3.5mm jack is listed per retailer specs — confirm on the unit if it matters to you.

Variants, Colours and Availability

Three configurations appear in listings: 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, in Crystal Blue, Midnight Black and Pearl White. Pricing is inconsistent between sources — Rs. 44,999 expected on whatmobile/mobilemall/urdupoint versus Rs. 52,800 for the 4GB + 64GB variant on ishopping.pk — which suggests thin, scattered stock rather than a stable official channel. Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

Anyone researching huawei nova y70 plus price in pakistan should know pricing is expected and inconsistent: whatmobile.com.pk, mobilemall.pk and urdupoint.com quote an expected Rs. 44,999, while ishopping.pk lists the 4GB + 64GB variant at Rs. 52,800 (October 2026). Zohaan Mobile Gallery's catalog reference is Rs. 39,999. With this much spread, the only safe move is a confirmed quote — check the Nova Y70 Plus page or WhatsApp the store for the current price of the exact variant you want.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Good fit: buyers who want the Y70 formula with more RAM; anyone who values the 6GB + 128GB configuration and the headphone jack; light-to-moderate users who will never stress the unknown chipset.

Look elsewhere if: you care about processor performance or gaming — the unconfirmed chipset is a red flag you cannot evaluate around. Also skip if you need Google apps or a sharp display.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of the Huawei Nova Y70 Plus in Pakistan?

Expected Rs. 44,999 per whatmobile/mobilemall/urdupoint listings — but ishopping.pk lists the 4GB + 64GB variant at Rs. 52,800, so pricing is inconsistent. Get a confirmed quote for your exact variant before buying.

Which chipset does the Nova Y70 Plus use?

Not officially confirmed. One listing claims Snapdragon 778G 4G, but no Huawei source supports it and other sources list the chipset as unspecified. Treat all chipset claims as unverified.

What are its RAM and storage options?

4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB, all with microSDXC expansion via a shared SIM slot.

What is its battery capacity?

6,000mAh. Charging speed is not officially confirmed in reviewed sources.

Does it have Google Play Store?

No. It runs EMUI 12 with Huawei Mobile Services only.

How is it different from the standard Nova Y70?

More RAM/storage options (up to 6GB + 128GB) and a headphone jack, at a higher and less stable price. The standard Y70's Kirin 710 is verified; the Plus's chipset is not.

Is it PTA approved?

PTA status is per device, not per model. Verify the specific unit's IMEI by SMS to 8484 before purchase.

Where can I confirm availability and price?

Check the Nova Y70 Plus product page or WhatsApp +92 305 8452080 for the confirmed current price of the exact variant.

Final Verdict

The Y70 Plus is a 'verify before you buy' phone. The battery, cameras and 6GB option are genuinely appealing, but an unconfirmed chipset and Rs. 44,999–52,800 price spread mean you should never buy one on specs alone. If a seller can confirm the exact variant, a fair price and PTA status in writing, it is a solid big-battery pick. If not, the standard Y70 gives you verified specs for less money.
