Huawei Nova 9 SE Price in Pakistan & Specs
Huawei Nova 9 SE — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Nova 9 SE was Huawei's first phone with a 108MP camera: a big 6.78-inch 90Hz display, the Snapdragon 680 4G chip, a 108MP quad rear camera, and 66W fast charging on a 4,000mAh battery. Two warnings up front: despite the family name, this is a different, cheaper phone than the Nova 9 (LCD instead of OLED, no RYYB sensor) — and some Pakistan listing sites show a "Nova 9 SE 5G" with a Snapdragon 695, which is a different device from the international Snapdragon 680 model covered here. This guide covers the verified specs of the genuine Nova 9 SE.

Design and Build Quality
The Nova 9 SE is the biggest Nova 9 at 164.64 x 75.55 x 7.94mm and 191g, with ultra-thin 1.05mm bezels around its 6.78-inch display and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Colours per official listings: Midnight Black, Pearl White, and Crystal Blue. The circular camera module carries the Nova 8i's design language forward — but the two are different phones (see below).
Display Features
A 6.78-inch IPS TFT LCD at 1080 x 2388 (~387 ppi) with a 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling. It is the largest screen in the Nova 9 family, but LCD — not the OLED of the Nova 9 and 9 Pro. For its class the panel is sharp and smooth; just don't expect OLED blacks or HDR10.
Processor and Performance
The Snapdragon 680 4G (6nm) is an octa-core budget chip (4x2.4GHz Kryo 265 Gold + 4x1.9GHz Kryo 265 Silver) with an Adreno 610 GPU — efficient and smooth for daily use, but a tier below the Snapdragon 778G in the Nova 9. It handles social apps, video, and light games comfortably; demanding 3D games need lower settings. No benchmark scores are claimed here — manufacturer specs reported as-is.
RAM and Storage
8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage — and microSD support is reported on retail spec listings, a rarity in the Nova 9 family (verify on the unit, flagged below). 8GB keeps EMUI 12 fluid for everyday multitasking.
Camera Features
The headline: Huawei's first 108MP camera — a 108MP main sensor (f/1.9, 1/1.52-inch, PDAF) plus an 8MP ultrawide (f/2.2, 112-degree), a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor, with LED flash. Rear video is capped at 1080p — no 4K on this model. The front camera is a 16MP shooter with 1080p video and a dual-view vlogging mode that records from front and rear cameras simultaneously. Note: the 108MP headline outranks the Nova 9's 50MP on paper, but the Nova 9's RYYB sensor and stronger chip deliver better real-world results.
Battery and Charging
A 4,000mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge — the same flagship-class charging as the Nova 9, filling the phone quickly despite the big screen. No wireless charging reported.
Software and Updates
Runs Android 11 with EMUI 12 out of the box (not HarmonyOS on international units). Important: Like all post-2019 Huawei phones, the Nova 9 SE has no Google Play Services — it runs Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) with the AppGallery store. Google apps do not work out of the box; workarounds exist but many buyers find them unreliable. Factor this in before buying.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Dual SIM 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. No 3.5mm headphone jack reported — audio goes through USB-C.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Launched March 2022 (international; Malaysia price RM 1,099 ~ USD 262) in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants. It is not the same phone as the Nova 8i (Snapdragon 662, 64MP camera) — the two share design language but differ in chip and camera. It is also not the "Nova 9 SE 5G" (Snapdragon 695) that appears on some Pakistan listing sites — that is a different device. The Nova 9 SE was not officially launched in Pakistan. The store's catalog reference is Rs. 31,999 (catalog reference only, not a current market price).
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
WhatMobile lists the Nova 9 SE as "Coming Soon" with an expected Rs. 54,999; a retail listing (minibazaar.pk) shows Rs. 54,999. Used units on OLX appear around Rs. 22,000–26,500 (individual seller listings, conditions vary). All are listing estimates — confirm the current live price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Who Should Consider This Phone?
Good fit: buyers who want the 108MP headline, 66W charging, and the biggest Nova 9 screen at a budget price — and who are comfortable with HMS.
Look elsewhere if: you need 4K video, an OLED screen, 5G, or Google services — the standard Nova 9 is the meaningful step up. Compare all mobiles instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the price of Huawei Nova 9 SE in Pakistan?
Expected Rs. 54,999 per listings ("Coming Soon"); used units on OLX sell for roughly Rs. 22,000–26,500. Confirm the current store price before buying.
Is the Nova 9 SE the same as the Nova 8i?
No. They share a design language but are different phones: the Nova 8i uses the Snapdragon 662 with a 64MP camera, while the Nova 9 SE uses the Snapdragon 680 with a 108MP camera.
What about the "Nova 9 SE 5G" in some listings?
Some Pakistan sites list a "Nova 9 SE 5G" with a Snapdragon 695 chip. That is a different device from the international Snapdragon 680 4G Nova 9 SE covered here — verify the unit's actual chipset before buying.
Does the Nova 9 SE support 5G?
The international Snapdragon 680 version does not. Only the separately listed "SE 5G" variant (Snapdragon 695) claims 5G.
Is the 108MP camera better than the Nova 9's 50MP?
On paper the resolution is higher, but the Nova 9's 50MP RYYB sensor and stronger chip generally deliver better real-world results, including 4K video.
Does it have a microSD slot?
Retail spec listings report microSD support, but this was not confirmed against official Huawei sources — verify on the unit before relying on it.
Does it have Google Play Services?
No. It runs EMUI 12 with Huawei Mobile Services; Google apps do not work out of the box.

Final Verdict
The Nova 9 SE is Huawei's budget headline-grabber: a 108MP camera, 66W charging, and the biggest screen in the family. Its honest limits are the Snapdragon 680 (no 4K video), the LCD panel, and HMS-only software. It is a fair buy at used-market prices — just make sure you are actually buying the Snapdragon 680 model and not a mislabelled variant, and verify the IMEI before paying.
