Huawei Nova 8 Pro Price in Pakistan & Specs
Huawei Nova 8 Pro — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Nova 8 Pro is the flagship of the Nova 8 family: a 6.72-inch 120Hz OLED display, the Kirin 985 5G chipset, a 64MP quad camera, and a rare dual front camera (16MP + 32MP ultrawide) — with 66W fast charging on a 4,000mAh battery. One note on naming: GSMArena lists both a "Nova 8 Pro 5G" and a "Nova 8 Pro 4G", but both carry the Kirin 985 5G (7nm) chip — the hardware is matched. This guide covers the verified specs and the Pakistan price picture.

Design and Build Quality
The Nova 8 Pro carries a larger 6.72-inch panel in a 163.3 x 74.1 x 7.9mm frame at 184g — glass front and back with an aluminium frame and an in-display optical fingerprint reader. Colours per official listings: Black, Blue, Green, and White. It is the largest phone in the Nova 8 family, noticeably bigger than the Nova 8 (169g, 6.57-inch).
Display Features
The standout screen of the family: 6.72-inch OLED, 1 billion colours, HDR10, and a full 120Hz refresh rate at 1236 x 2676 resolution (~439 ppi) — the sharpest panel in the Nova 8 line. 120Hz makes scrolling and animations visibly smoother than the 90Hz Nova 8 and 60Hz Nova 8 SE Youth. Combined with HDR10 and deep OLED blacks, this is the best display Huawei offered in the series.
Processor and Performance
The Kirin 985 5G (7nm) is an octa-core flagship-adjacent chip (1x2.58GHz + 3x2.40GHz Cortex-A76 + 4x1.84GHz Cortex-A55) with an 8-core Mali-G77 GPU — the same chip family as Huawei's Nova 7 and Honor 30 flagships. Paired with 8GB RAM, it handles demanding games and multitasking better than the Kirin 820E in the standard Nova 8. No benchmark scores are claimed here — manufacturer specs reported as-is, not tested performance.
RAM and Storage
8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of UFS storage. No microSD slot, so choose at purchase. 8GB is comfortable for the EMUI 11 multitasking the chip can drive.
Camera Features
The rear quad camera leads with a 64MP main sensor (f/1.8, PDAF) plus an 8MP ultrawide (120-degree), a 2MP macro, and an auxiliary lens — recording 4K video with gyro-EIS. The real differentiator is the front: a dual selfie camera — 16MP wide plus 32MP ultrawide (100-degree field of view) — the only dual front camera in the Nova 8 family, built for group selfies and wide vlogging. Front video is 1080p@30fps.
Battery and Charging
A 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired SuperCharge — advertised as 60% in 15 minutes and a full charge in 35 minutes — plus 5W reverse wired charging. The battery is 200mAh larger than the standard Nova 8's but drives a bigger 120Hz screen, so real-world endurance is roughly comparable. No wireless charging.
Software and Updates
Runs Android 10 with EMUI 11. Important: This is a Huawei device with no Google Play Services — it runs Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) with the AppGallery store. Google apps such as Gmail, YouTube, and Google Maps do not work out of the box and require workarounds that many buyers find unreliable. Factor this in before buying; it is the single biggest practical caveat on an otherwise strong spec sheet.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Dual Nano-SIM with 5G SA/NSA, 4G LTE-A, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG, and NFC. Sensors: in-display optical fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. No 3.5mm headphone jack, no FM radio.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Launched December 2020 (China) in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants, in Black, Blue, Green, and White. A "Nova 8 Pro 4G" variant was announced in April 2021 — GSMArena's specs show the same Kirin 985 5G chip in both, so performance and camera are matched. It had no official Pakistan launch; Pakistan stock is import or used. The store's catalog reference for the Nova 8 Pro is Rs. 29,999 (catalog reference only, not a current market price).

Final Verdict
The Nova 8 Pro is the enthusiast's pick of the family: 120Hz OLED, Kirin 985 5G, dual selfie cameras, and 66W charging. Its honest limits are HMS-only software, the older Android 10 base, and a battery that is merely adequate for the big screen. For buyers who want the most Nova 8 for the money and can live with AppGallery, it sits above the standard Nova 8 on every hardware axis — verify IMEI before paying.
