Huawei Nova 5T Price in Pakistan & Specs
Huawei Nova 5T — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Nova 5T is the standout of the entire Nova line-up for one reason: it is the last globally launched Nova with full Google Mobile Services. Launched in August 2019 as the international twin of the Honor 20, it packs a flagship Kirin 980 chip, a 48MP quad camera and a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera. In Pakistan it now sells only in the used and import market. This guide covers its verified specifications, the huawei nova 5t price in pakistan, and why its Google support makes it the safest used Huawei buy.

Design and Build Quality
The Nova 5T keeps a compact 6.26-inch body at just 7.8 mm thick and 174 g — noticeably slimmer and lighter than the later Nova 6 and 7 series. Glass front and back with an aluminium frame give it a flagship feel, and the side-mounted fingerprint reader sits exactly where the thumb rests. The punch-hole display keeps bezels tight for a 2019 design. Note there is no 3.5mm headphone jack, so plan on USB-C or Bluetooth audio.
Display Features
The 6.26-inch IPS LCD delivers 1080 x 2340 resolution (about 412 ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Colours are punchy for an LCD and brightness is fine indoors and in shade, though it will not match a modern OLED in direct sunlight. Refresh rate is the standard 60Hz — do not expect the smooth 90Hz+ scrolling of newer mid-range phones.
Processor and Performance
The 7nm Kirin 980 is a genuine former flagship chip — the same silicon as the P30 Pro — and it still handles daily apps, social media and multitasking with ease. Light to moderate gaming runs well, though demanding 3D titles at high settings will show the chip's age. No benchmark claims are made here; treat third-party scores as rough indicators only.
RAM and Storage
The Pakistan-listed configuration is 8GB RAM with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage — generous for a phone of this era and still workable in 2026 for most users. There is no microSD or Nano Memory slot, so the storage you buy is the storage you keep. Heavy video shooters should weigh that before buying.
Camera Features
The quad rear setup is led by a 48MP main sensor with PDAF, joined by a 16MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor, with 4K video recording. Daylight photos are detailed and the ultrawide adds real versatility. Low-light and night shots lag far behind modern night modes. The 32MP punch-hole selfie camera is a highlight — among the best front cameras Huawei put in a mid-range phone.
Battery and Charging
A 3,750mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging (advertised 50% in about 24 minutes) powers the phone. Expect a full day of moderate use; heavy users will likely need a top-up by evening. There is no wireless charging. Because any unit today is used, battery health varies by unit — ask the store to confirm the specific handset's condition.
Software and Updates
This is the decisive section. The Nova 5T launched globally before Huawei's access to Google services ended, so it ships with full Google Mobile Services: Play Store, Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps and banking apps all install and run normally. It launched on Android 9 (EMUI 9.1), upgradable to Android 10 (EMUI 10). Do not expect further major Android upgrades — security patches stopped years ago, so use a reputable security app and keep apps updated.
Connectivity and Additional Features
Supports 4G LTE on wide bands, dual Nano-SIM standby, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX, NFC, GPS/GLONASS/BDS/Galileo and USB-C with OTG. There is no 5G — the Kirin 980 has no 5G modem, and no software update can add it. FM radio is not included.
Variants, Colours and Availability
The common configuration is 8GB + 128GB; a 6GB RAM variant exists in some markets. Colours listed are Black, Crush Blue and Midsummer Purple, with Crush Green in select regions. Do not confuse it with the Nova 5i, 5i Pro or 5z — those are different phones with different chips and no global Google support.
