Huawei Mate X6 Price in Pakistan & Specs
Huawei Mate X6 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Mate X6 (2024) is the thinnest book-style foldable Huawei had ever made — 4.6 mm unfolded — with LTPO displays on both sides, a variable-aperture main camera, and the Kirin 9020 chip. It refines everything the X5 started, but keeps the line's two constants: HMS only with no Google apps, and no official Pakistan launch. This guide covers its verified specifications, Pakistan price expectations, and honest buying advice.

Design and Build Quality
The X6's engineering headline is thinness: 4.6 mm unfolded and under 10 mm folded, at 239 g — numbers that embarrassed every rival foldable in 2024. A carbon-fiber inner-screen support layer adds rigidity, Kunlun Glass 2 protects the cover display, and IPX8 water resistance carries over from the X5. Vegan fiber and eco-leather back options exist. On a used unit, check the hinge and both screens under bright light.
Display Features
Both screens are now LTPO OLED with adaptive 1–120Hz refresh: the 7.93-inch folding display (2240 x 2440, 1800 nits peak) and the 6.45-inch cover display (1080 x 2440, 2500 nits peak). LTPO means smoother scrolling with better battery efficiency, and the brightness figures keep both screens readable outdoors. HDR Vivid support and 1 billion colours complete a genuinely flagship display package.
Processor and Performance
The Kirin 9020 (with Taishan CPU cores and the Maleoon 920 GPU) is a meaningful step up from the 9000S, but independent reviews note it still sits in the mid-range by 2024–2025 flagship standards — fine for everyday use, multitasking, and moderate gaming, not a benchmark champion. Expect smooth daily performance; do not expect Snapdragon 8 Elite-class headroom.
RAM and Storage
12GB or 16GB of RAM with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. Notably, there is no card slot on the X6 — unlike the X5's Nano Memory support — so choose your storage tier carefully at purchase. 12GB + 512GB is the balanced pick for most buyers.
Camera Features
The camera system is the X6's other headline: a 50MP main sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) and OIS — physically adjusting aperture like a real camera — plus a 48MP periscope telephoto with 4x optical zoom and OIS, and a 40MP ultrawide. A second-generation colour sensor improves accuracy. Both displays get 8MP front cameras with 4K video. This is proper flagship photography, foldable or not.
Battery and Charging
A 5,110mAh battery with 66W wired SuperCharge, 50W wireless, 7.5W reverse wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging. For a 4.6 mm foldable, 5,110mAh is impressive engineering. Real-world endurance covers a full day of mixed use; the LTPO displays help. Verify charging speed and standby drain on any grey-market unit.
Software and Updates
The X6 runs EMUI 15 (HarmonyOS 4.3 base) with HMS only — no Google Play Services. EMUI 15 refines multitasking across the folding display, and AppGallery's catalog keeps growing, but native Google apps remain absent. Confirm your essential apps — especially banking — work acceptably before committing at this price.
Connectivity and Additional Features
5G, 4G LTE, dual Nano-SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, infrared port, GPS, and USB-C 3.1. IPX8 water resistance, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and BDS satellite messaging round out a complete flagship feature set. No card slot, as noted.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Variants: 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, 16GB + 1TB in Black, White, Gray, Blue, and Red. The X6 was never officially sold in Pakistan — units are grey imports, concentrated in the big-city used and import markets. Folding-display repairs are expensive; buy only a flawless unit from a seller you can return to.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Pakistani trackers list expected prices of Rs. 469,999 (12GB + 256GB), Rs. 499,999 (12GB + 512GB), Rs. 549,999 (16GB + 512GB), and Rs. 599,999 (16GB + 1TB), updated October 2026 — estimates, not official prices, so confirm the current asking price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery. One archive shows Rs. 620,999 for the 512GB variant. PTA verification via 8484 is mandatory before paying.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval and how to check the IMEI before you hand over any money.

Final Verdict
The Mate X6 is Huawei's foldable craft at its peak before the X7: impossibly thin, genuinely bright LTPO screens, a variable-aperture camera, and water resistance. The Kirin 9020 is its honest ceiling — good, not great — and HMS-only remains the membership fee. For HMS-comfortable buyers, it is the best-value flagship Huawei foldable on the grey market.
