Huawei Mate 30 Price in Pakistan & Full Specs
Huawei Mate 30 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The Huawei Mate 30 is the 2019 base flagship that introduced the Kirin 990 chip and Leica triple camera to the Mate line — but it is also the phone where Google Play Services disappeared from Huawei devices. If you are considering a used Mate 30 in Pakistan, the single most important thing to understand is the HMS-only software. This guide covers verified specifications, Pakistan price context, and honest buying advice.

Design and Build Quality
The Mate 30 keeps the flat 6.62-inch OLED display while the Pro went curved, and it carries the circular "Halo ring" camera housing that defined the series. Glass front and back with an aluminium frame and IP53 dust-and-splash resistance make it feel properly premium, though not as sealed as the IP68 Pro. At 196 g it is comfortable for daily use.
Display Features
The 6.62-inch OLED panel with HDR10 and 1080 x 2340 resolution (~389 ppi) delivers deep blacks and strong contrast — noticeably better than the LCD screens common on used phones at this price. It is a 60Hz panel, so motion looks fine but not as fluid as 90Hz+ phones. An under-display optical fingerprint sensor adds a flagship touch.
Processor and Performance
The Kirin 990 (7 nm+) was Huawei's flagship chip in 2019: octa-core up to 2.86 GHz with a 16-core Mali-G76 GPU. For everyday use — messaging, social media, video, office work — it still feels fast. It will run most games, though demanding 2026 titles need reduced settings. This is a 4G-only variant of the chip; check the model number if 5G matters to you.
RAM and Storage
Pakistan listings show 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations with fast UFS 3.0 storage, expandable via Huawei's Nano Memory card (up to 256GB, shared SIM slot). For used buyers in 2026, the 8GB variant is the better pick — 6GB is workable but tighter with modern apps.
Camera Features
The Leica triple camera (40MP wide + 16MP ultrawide + 8MP 3x telephoto with OIS) remains the Mate 30's strongest asset: sharp daylight shots, genuine 3x optical zoom, and Huawei's strong colour science. Video goes up to 4K@60fps with gyro-EIS. Where it shows its age is night mode and computational photography — modern mid-range phones process low light better. The 24MP front camera is solid for selfies.
Battery and Charging
The 4,200mAh battery supports 40W wired SuperCharge, 27W wireless charging, and reverse wireless — a rare full-house charging setup for a 2019 phone. On the used market, verify battery health: 40W charging is only impressive if the battery still holds charge. Ask the seller for a health check or cycle history before paying.
Software and Updates
This is the critical section. The Mate 30 runs Android 10 with EMUI 10 but has no Google Play Services — no Play Store, no Gmail, YouTube, or Maps out of the box. Huawei's AppGallery and Petal Search cover many apps, and workarounds exist, but banking apps and Google-dependent services may not work properly. If your daily life depends on Google apps, this phone is a deal-breaker regardless of price.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The 4G variant supports LTE-A, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 with aptX HD, NFC, an IR blaster, and USB Type-C 3.1. Face unlock and the under-display fingerprint sensor both work well. Note: a Mate 30 5G variant (Kirin 990 5G) exists — always verify which version the seller is offering, as 5G is not available on this base unit.
Variants, Colours and Availability
The Mate 30 came in Black, Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, and Emerald Green (with Orange and Forest Green in some regions), in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants. It is discontinued — only used or old import units exist in Pakistan. Do not confuse it with the Mate 30 Pro (curved display, quad camera, IP68) or the Mate 30 5G (Kirin 990 5G).
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
No verified current official Pakistan price exists — the Mate 30 is discontinued. Historical Pakistan box prices were around Rs. 139,999 (easymobile/mobilemall, launch-era listings). Zohaan Mobile Gallery's internal catalog reference for this model is Rs. 65,000 (reference only — not a current market price). Used units trade lower; confirm the latest price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.
PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Who Should Consider This Phone?
Good fit: buyers comfortable living without Google apps — people who use AppGallery, web apps, or Huawei's ecosystem — who want flagship build, OLED screen, and zoom camera at used-market prices. Also suits a second phone or a gift for someone not tied to Google services.
Look elsewhere if: you need the Play Store, banking apps, or Google Maps daily — the HMS limitation is non-negotiable for most users. In that case browse the all mobiles collection for phones with full Google support.
