Huawei Enjoy 5 — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan

The Huawei Enjoy 5 is a 2015 budget smartphone — a full decade old — that still floats around Pakistan's used market thanks to its big (for the era) 4,000mAh battery. It is not a main-device phone in 2026. This guide covers its original specifications honestly, why it only suits cheap backup or basic use, and what to check on a used unit.

Key Specifications at a Glance

Design and Build Quality

A compact plastic phone by modern standards: 143.1 mm tall, 9.7 mm thick, and 160 g. It was sold mainly in Black, with China-only variants (TIT-UL00, TIT-CL10) that differ in network bands. The design is dated — big bezels, physical-feeling buttons — but the small 5-inch body is genuinely comfortable for one-handed use, something modern phones have abandoned.

Display Features

The 5.0-inch IPS LCD at 720 x 1280 gives about 294 ppi — sharp enough for basic reading and calls. It's a standard 60Hz panel with modest brightness; fine indoors, washed out in direct sunlight. A used unit's screen is the part to inspect most carefully: look for discolouration, dead pixels, and touch dead zones, which are common after a decade.

Processor and Performance

The MediaTek MT6735 is a quad-core 1.3 GHz chip from 2015 with a Mali-T720 GPU. In 2026 it is extremely slow: modern WhatsApp, YouTube, and even browsers will stutter, and many current apps no longer support Android 5.1. Treat this strictly as a calls-and-SMS device — anything more will frustrate you.

RAM and Storage

2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, with microSD expansion up to 128GB. Even in 2015 this was entry-level; today, 2GB RAM means apps reload constantly and the system itself consumes most of the memory. The microSD slot helps for music and photos, but apps increasingly refuse to install or run on such old Android versions regardless of storage.

Camera Features

A single 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5MP front camera. By 2015 standards it was respectable; today it produces soft, noisy images with slow focus, and video is basic. It works for documenting something in a pinch, but don't buy this phone for its camera — any modern entry-level phone outperforms it by a wide margin.

Battery and Charging

The 4,000mAh battery was the Enjoy 5's headline feature in 2015. But on a used unit, the battery is a decade old: expect degraded capacity, swelling risk, and sudden shutdowns. If you buy one, budget for a possible battery replacement at a proper mobile repair shop, since the battery is non-removable.

Software and Updates

It shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and EMUI 3.1 Lite — and being a pre-2019 Huawei, it does have Google Play Services, unlike newer Enjoy models. The problem is age: Android 5.1 lost security updates years ago, and many apps now require newer Android versions. Use it for calls, SMS, FM radio, and offline media — not for banking or sensitive accounts.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Dual SIM with 4G LTE (band support varies by China variant — check the specific model's bands against your carrier), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM radio, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port. There is no fingerprint sensor on the base Enjoy 5, and no NFC. Note the China variants (TIT-UL00/TIT-CL10) may have TD-LTE bands tuned for Chinese carriers, so confirm your Pakistani SIM works before buying.

Variants, Colours and Availability

The Enjoy 5 sold as the TIT-UL00 and TIT-CL10 in China (codenamed 'Titan') — same hardware, different band configurations. It was also rebadged as the Honor Play 5X in some markets. In Pakistan you'll only find used units, and most are China ROM imports, so the software language and pre-installed apps may need resetting to English on first setup.

Price in Pakistan and PTA Information

There is no meaningful 'current price' for a discontinued 2015 phone — value depends entirely on condition, battery health, and whether the unit is PTA-registered. Zohaan Mobile Gallery's catalog carries a reference figure of Rs. 36,000 from its October 2026 import, but that is not a verified live market price for a decade-old used handset. If you're considering one, WhatsApp the store with the exact unit's condition and IMEI status, and expect used-market pricing far below any catalog figure — negotiate on condition, not on the model name.

PTA: PTA approval applies per device and IMEI, not per model. Before paying, send the phone's IMEI to 8484 and confirm "Compliant" status. How to check PTA approval.

Main Advantages and Limitations

Advantages:

• 4,000mAh battery was excellent for its era — good for a basic backup phone
• Pre-2019 Huawei, so it has Google Play Services (unlike newer Enjoy models)
• Compact 5-inch body, comfortable for one-handed use
• FM radio and headphone jack for offline entertainment

Limitations:

• Android 5.1.1 is obsolete — security risks and many modern apps won't run
• MT6735 quad-core chip is painfully slow for 2026 apps
• Any used unit has a decade-old battery — degradation or swelling risk
• Discontinued: no parts availability, no updates, no warranty

Who Should Consider This Phone?

Good fit: someone needing the cheapest possible backup phone for calls and SMS; a spare handset for a driver or shop counter; buyers who specifically want FM radio and a headphone jack on a throwaway device.

Look elsewhere if: this is your main phone, you use WhatsApp heavily, banking apps, or social media — a 2015 phone will fight you daily. Look at newer budget mobiles instead, and read how to buy a used mobile safely first.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of Huawei Enjoy 5 in Pakistan?

There is no verified current price — it's a discontinued 2015 model sold only used. Price depends on condition and PTA status; confirm with Zohaan Mobile Gallery for any unit in stock.

Does the Huawei Enjoy 5 support 4G?

Yes — 4G LTE, though band support varies between the Chinese TIT-UL00 and TIT-CL10 variants, so test your SIM before buying.

Does it have Google Play Store?

Yes — it launched before the 2019 Huawei restrictions, so it ships with Google Play Services. However, many modern apps no longer support Android 5.1.

What processor and RAM does it have?

MediaTek MT6735 quad-core 1.3 GHz with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (microSD expandable to 128GB).

How is the battery on a used unit?

The original 4,000mAh battery is a decade old on any used unit — expect reduced capacity. Check for swelling and sudden shutdowns before paying.

Is Android 5.1 safe to use in 2026?

It no longer receives security updates, so avoid banking apps and sensitive accounts on it. It's acceptable for calls, SMS, FM radio, and offline media.

Is the Enjoy 5 PTA approved?

PTA status is per-device. Many old grey-market units are unregistered — verify the IMEI via SMS to 8484 before purchase.

Should I buy it as my main phone?

No. Only consider it as a cheap backup or basic-use handset. Check the Enjoy 5 product page or WhatsApp +92 305 8452080 for what's actually in stock.

Final Verdict

The Enjoy 5 is a museum piece that still makes calls. As a backup phone for a shop counter or a driver, a working unit at a throwaway price has some logic — Google services, FM radio, big battery. As anything more, its 2015 hardware and dead software will disappoint within a week. Buy only if the price matches its age, the battery is healthy, and the IMEI checks out.
