Design and Build Quality
The Crest's headline design story is repairability: the display, back cover, battery, and charging port are designed to be user-repairable. It is also dust and splash resistant. At 205 g it is solid but not heavy for its size. Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack included.
Display Features
The 6.67-inch OLED (1080 x 2400, ~395 ppi) with 90 Hz refresh is the Crest's strongest spec on paper — OLED contrast and smooth scrolling at a mid-range price. A genuine advantage over LCD rivals in this segment.
Processor and Performance
The Unisoc T760 (6 nm) is a competent mid-range chip: fine for everyday apps, social media, and light gaming, but it trails Snapdragon and Dimensity rivals in raw power and efficiency. Heavy gamers should compare alternatives before committing.
RAM and Storage
6GB RAM and 128GB storage with microSDXC expansion — a sensible combination. 6GB is enough for smooth multitasking at this level, and the card slot removes storage anxiety.
Camera Features
A 50MP main rear camera (wide, AF) with a 2MP depth helper, LED flash, and 1080p video — plus a head-turning 50MP front camera for selfies. Daylight photos are good; low-light and video are average for the class (no OIS, no 4K). The 50MP selfie camera is the standout for video calls and self-portraits.
Battery and Charging
A 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging — a full day and then some for typical use, with meaningfully faster top-ups than the 10W–18W charging common in cheaper phones. No wireless charging.
Software and Updates
Ships with Android 14. HMD's exact update commitment for the Crest was not officially confirmed — ask about the update policy if long-term software support matters to you.
Connectivity and Additional Features
5G (bands 1/3/28/40/78), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, side fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm jack. No NFC.
Variants, Colours and Availability
One main variant: 6GB + 128GB. Midnight Blue is the widely listed colour; Royal Pink and Lush Lilac appear in some regions — availability varies.
