HMD Aura Price in Pakistan & Full Specs
HMD Aura — Full Specifications, Features & Price in Pakistan
The HMD Aura, released May 2024, is HMD's entry-level smartphone: a big 6.56-inch display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a user-replaceable battery design at a genuinely low price. It is a basics-first phone — calls, WhatsApp, YouTube — not a performance device. This guide covers its verified specs, price estimates, and who it actually suits. Note: the newer HMD Aura 2 is a different model — do not confuse their specs or prices.

Design and Build Quality
Simple plastic build with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The standout design feature is the user-replaceable battery — rare in 2024+ smartphones and genuinely useful for keeping a budget phone alive for years. Dimensions and weight were not officially confirmed.
Display Features
The 6.56-inch IPS LCD at 900 x 1600 (~280 ppi) is large but low-resolution — text and images look soft next to HD+ rivals. It is a 60 Hz panel with no high-brightness claims, so outdoor visibility is average. Fine for videos and reading at arm's length; not for pixel-peepers.
Processor and Performance
The Unisoc SC9863A1 (28 nm) is a basic entry-level chip. It handles calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, and YouTube adequately but struggles with multitasking and modern games. Set expectations accordingly: this is a communication device, not a performance phone.
RAM and Storage
4GB RAM and 64GB storage with a dedicated microSDXC slot — the card slot is a real plus at this price. 4GB is enough for light use; heavy multitaskers will feel the limits.
Camera Features
A 13MP main rear camera with an auxiliary lens, LED flash, and 1080p video, plus a 5MP front camera. Expect basic daylight snapshots — usable for documents and casual photos, not for photography enthusiasts. Keep the lens clean and shoot in good light for the best results.
Battery and Charging
The 5,000 mAh battery is the Aura's best feature: with the low-power chip and display, two-day battery life is realistic for light users. Charging is only 10W, so refills are slow — charge overnight. The user-replaceable battery means a worn battery is a cheap fix, not a phone replacement.
Software and Updates
Ships with Android 13. HMD's update commitment for this entry model was not officially confirmed — do not assume multiple Android upgrades. Treat it as a phone that will stay roughly as it ships.
Connectivity and Additional Features
4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB-C, rear fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm jack. No 5G, no NFC, no FM radio confirmed.
Variants, Colours and Availability
One main variant: 4GB + 64GB in Glacier Green and Indigo Black. Do not confuse it with the HMD Aura 2 (2025), which has different specs (6.52-inch display, 256GB storage, Android 14 Go) and different pricing.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Estimates vary: Rs. 37,100 (mobile57.com, October 2026) versus an expected Rs. 21,999 (mobileinto.com.pk). These are third-party estimates, not official HMD Pakistan prices — confirm the actual price with Zohaan Mobile Gallery before buying.

Final Verdict
The HMD Aura is an honest budget phone: big screen, two-day battery, replaceable battery, and the essentials for around Rs. 25,000–35,000. It makes no performance promises and keeps none it cannot. Buy it for simplicity and battery life — not for speed or cameras.
