Design and Build Quality
Recycled-aluminium camera bar, Gorilla Glass Victus front and back, IP68 rating — the Pixel 7 feels every bit a flagship. The Lemongrass colour is distinctive; Obsidian is the safe pick. On used units, inspect the camera bar and glass edges for chips.
Display Features
The 6.3-inch AMOLED (1080 x 2400, ~416 ppi) with 90 Hz refresh, HDR10+, and up to 1400 nits peak brightness is a big step up from the Pixel 6a's 60 Hz panel. Smooth scrolling, vibrant colour, and genuinely usable outdoor brightness.
Processor and Performance
The Tensor G2 is built for Google's AI workloads: Photo Unblur, Cinematic Blur video, best-in-class voice features, and fast on-device processing. Everyday performance is flagship-smooth; sustained gaming still trails Snapdragon flagships and the phone can run warm.
RAM and Storage
8GB RAM with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage — fast storage, ample memory for multitasking. No microSD slot, so 128GB is the only choice in this variant.
Camera Features
The 50MP main camera (f/1.9, OIS, multi-directional PDAF, Laser AF) is superb — detailed daylight shots, excellent Night Sight, and 4K60 video with great stabilisation. The 12MP ultrawide adds macro focus. The 10.8MP front camera even shoots 4K. This is the phone's headline reason to exist.
Battery and Charging
A 4,355 mAh battery with 20W wired, Qi wireless, and reverse wireless (Battery Share) charging. Real-world endurance is a full day for most users. On used units, verify battery health and ask about the charging history.
Software and Updates
Launched on Android 13 with Google's extended update commitment — years of OS and security updates, plus exclusive Pixel Feature Drops. The software experience is the cleanest Android you can buy.
Connectivity and Additional Features
5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E (tri-band), Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX HD, NFC, in-display fingerprint sensor, USB-C 3.2, stereo speakers. No headphone jack.
Variants, Colours and Availability
Sold as 8GB + 128GB (also a 256GB variant internationally) in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow. Google never officially launched in Pakistan, so all local stock is imported — PTA status is the price driver.
Price in Pakistan and PTA Information
Current retail listings for PTA-approved 128GB units sit around Rs. 78,000 (jumbotech.pk, in stock), while used official-PTA listings on OLX cluster around Rs. 60,000–Rs. 70,000. Non-PTA/JV units trade lower. These are approximate market figures, not official prices — confirm with Zohaan Mobile Gallery on WhatsApp before buying.
PTA reality for Pixels: PTA approval is per-device and per-IMEI, and Pixels are among the most CPID/JV-traded phones in Pakistan. Verify the specific unit's IMEI by SMS to 8484, read the CPID vs PTA guide and what PTA approval means before paying.
